- In the top NITs, the CSE opening ranks range from the top 1,000 to 3,000, while branches such as AI, data science, and ECE typically close between 5,000 and 12,000.
- In the top IIITs, such as Hyderabad, Delhi, Bangalore, and Allahabad, the closing rank for branches like CSE and IT ranges from 1,000 to 10,000. For new IIITs, the closing rank for top branches is between 25,000 and 50,000.
- For GFTIs, the colleges like PEC, BIT Mesra, and IGIT Sarang will close between 20,000 and 45,000, and the others will have a closing rank above 60,000 according to the category and branch.
