Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling 2021 is expected to start in November 2021. NEET Counselling 2021 will be conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Raipur, for filling 1345 MBBS and 699 BDS seats. Candidates will have to register for the counselling online on the official website of DME Raipur. Post completion of registration, the authority will release the merit list for MBBS and BDS programs based on NEET 2021 Results

The first two rounds of counselling will be conducted online whereas the third round of Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling 2021 will be conducted in offline mode. A tabular representation regarding the basic eligibility criteria to apply for Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling 2021 is given below. 

• Candidates with the citizenship status of India or OCI (Overseas Citizens of India) candidates are eligible to sit for the test. 
• Candidates with the domicile status of the state of Chattisgarh can appear in the entrance test under the state quota.

Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling 2021 Registration

After the declaration of NEET Results, candidates need to register themselves through the official website of the State Council i.e., cgdme.co.in. By following all the rules and regulations, candidates should enter all the details in the application form. 

Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling 2021: Merit List

• Based on NEET Result, the merit list for Chhattisgarh MBBS Counselling will be set.
• All the information of the candidate such as Name, Rank, Category Rank and Score secured in NEET 2021 will be there in the merit list.
• Candidates will be allocated seats based on the completion of the web options entry process. For the merit list, around 15% of total seats are available in the Government Medical and Dental Colleges under the All India quotas.

Tie Break Criteria:

After releasing the result of NEET 2021, the concerned authority will conduct the tie-breaking process. The process commenced in a situation where more than two candidates secured the same score in the entrance examination. The tie is broken by following some processes mentioned below. 

• The total score secured in the subject Biology will be taken for consideration when the candidate will obtain a high score in that subject.
• The equal marks in the subject of Biology, Chemistry Subject will be counted and the preference will be given in this sequence. 
• In the situation where two candidates obtained the same score in Biology and Chemistry, then their date of birth will be taken into consideration and in that case, the candidate who is older in age will get the first preference.
