Nagaland NEET Counselling 2021: Eligibility

The candidates should fulfil the following criteria to be eligible for Nagaland NEET counselling 2021-

  • Only the candidates who have successfully cleared the NEET 2021 Cutoff (NEET Qualified candidates) are eligible to apply for the counselling process.
  • The candidates must be Domiciled in Nagaland and have appropriate documents to prove it.
  • The candidates must be at least 17 Years of age at the time of applying. There is no upper age limit for the counselling process. 
  • The candidate must have passed the 10+2 Examination with Physics, Chemistry and English and either Biology or Biotechnology as the subjects. Furthermore, the candidate should obtain at least 50% of the overall marks in the examination. (40% for the SC/ST candidates, 45% for the Physically Handicapped Candidates)

Nagaland NEET Counselling Process

Nagaland NEET Counselling Process would consist of the following steps:

Registration
  • The candidates domiciled in Nagaland have to register themselves for the counselling process on the official portal.
  • The candidate then would need to submit his NEET 2021 Score score along with his educational details for the counselling process.
Document verification
  • The candidate has to submit/upload the soft copy of his 12th and 10th markets, Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate (if applicable) and other relevant documents for verification
Online Choice Filling
  • The candidate would be asked to fill in the institutions he would like to apply to. The candidate can choose multiple institutes but would be allotted a seat into any one as per his rank and reservation criteria. 
Seat allotment 
  • Seat allotment results for the round would be declared online. The candidate would be provided with provisional allotment letters for the same along with their reporting centres. 
  • The candidates who have not been allotted any seats and the candidates wishing to upgrade can choose the option to appear for the next counselling round.
  • The candidates satisfied with their results would be asked to freeze their seats.
Reporting at the center
  • Candidate who has accepted the allotted seat are required to visit the reporting centre with their original documents and the provisional allotment letter
  • Upon the verification and submission of the fees, the candidate would be officially accepted to the institution.
