NEET is a national eligibility entrance test conducted for students seeking admission in MBBS and BDS courses. The exam was successfully conducted on May 5, 2019 in offline mode. NEET Result will be declared on June 5, 2019 at the official website i.e. ntaneet.ac.in.

Scholarships by Manipal Academy of Higher Education
Manipal University provides two types of scholarships to NEET scholars i.e. Free- Ship and Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship
Free-Ship
- Candidates who secure AIR within 2,000 in NEET 2019 are eligible for the Free-Ship Scholarship in Kasturba Medical College at Manipal and Mangalore for MBBS.
- Candidates who secure AIR within 7,000 in NEET 2019 are eligible for the Free Ship scholarship in Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCODS) at Manipal and Mangalore for BDS

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship

- Free-ship and merit-cum-means scholarships seats are limited to 5% of the general category intake and cover the only course fee.
- Candidates have to pay the difference of the first year course fee and the scholarship amount.
- The scholarship does not cover expenses such as hostel accommodation, books, etc.
- The amount of free-ship & merit-cum-means scholarship for subsequent years will be the same as given at the time of admission in the first year.
- For subsequent years, the scholarship will be based on the student’s academic performance in the university exam as per the university rules-
- Minimum 65% marks (in aggregate) in a system of awarding marks
- Minimum CGPA of 3 in a 4 point grading system
- Minimum CGPA of 8 in a 10 point grading system
