Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, UP conducts UP NEET Counselling and Seat Allotment Process. Uttar Pradesh MBBS/BDS Admission is based on scores obtained in NEET 2020. The state counselling schedule has not bee released yet but it is expected to start in the month of November 2020.
UP NEET Counselling is held for 85% seats of MBBS/BDS courses in medical/dental colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates from other states willing to take admission in UP Medical colleges will have to participate in Centralised counselling conducted by MCC for remaining 15% All India seats. UP NEET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Following qualifications are required for admission in all medical colleges in the state:
- Candidates who were registered in NEET as per NTA eligibility guidelines.
- Candidates who have passed class 12 or equivalent in Uttar Pradesh
- It shall be mandatory to present the “General Resident Certificate” issued on the prescribed format by the said candidates.
- Candidates not studied from Uttar Pradesh but are native to Uttar Pradesh will have to produce the “original resident certificate”.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed class 12 (Biology/ Biotechnology Group). For admission in MBBS courses, candidates need to fulfill below criteria:

Documents Required During UP NEET Counselling 2020
- Class 10 and 12 Marksheets
- Class 10 and 12 Passing Certificate
- Date of Birth Certificate
- Rank Card of NEET 2020
- Caste Certificate (If applicable)
- PWD Certificate (If applicable)
- Counselling Letter issued by NEET Authority
- Two Passport Sizes photograph similar to that pasted on Application Form.
Candidates have to bring all the original documents along with the self attested photocopies of the required document for the purpose of document verification.
