Ans. My sister is an alumnus of NIT Arunachal Pradesh and has also visited NIT Silchar several times. As per her experience, the preference order to follow while making a choice between these institutes should be  NIT Silchar > NIT Arunachal Pradesh>PEC The reason I placed NIT Silchar first is because it has better rankings, and even the connectivity issues have been resolved. One can now reach Silchar by road, train and via air. This has improved the placement scenario to a great extent.Read more

Ans. NIT Arunachal Pradesh is among the top 200 engineering colleges in the country according to the NIRF Ranking of 2020. Ujjain Engineering College is an AICTE approved autonomous institute. Listed below are a few aspects to analyze both institutes: NIT Arunachal Pradesh, Biotechnology : Admission - Students are accepted for admission based on the JEE Main score and the prerequisite for the program is at least 75% in 10+2 academics. The closing cut-off ranking for the biotechnology program at NIT Arunachal Pradesh was 44,563 in 2019. The first year fee of the course is 2.2 Lakhs. However, students can also avail scholarships and other fee waivers. Placements - The highest and average salary of the students at this campus is 11.68 LPA and 4.2 LPA respectively. The companies visiting the campus for the placement drive are Wipro, Research laboratories, Pharmaceutical companies, Intel, Infosys, Hyundai, Havells, NOKIA, Polaris, Ashok Leyland, Yodlee, Asahi India Glass, and many more. Ujjain Engineering College, Mechanical engineering : Admission - Like NIT Arunachal Pradesh, Ujjain Engineering college also accepts students based on the intermediate and 10+2 marks. Ques. Which should I choose CVR ECE or CVSR Anurag CSE?

Ans. From what I've read, CVSR CSE has a more robust internship and placement program compared to CVR ECE. The reviews highlight that around 75% of students get placed in good companies, and the highest packages can go up to 38 LPA. The curriculum in CVSR CSE is also designed to include emerging technologies, which is crucial for today's job market. Meanwhile, CVR ECE seems to struggle a bit with placements, with more students ending up in software roles rather than core engineering positions, which might not be ideal if you’re looking to work in the hardware sector.Read more

Ques. Which is better for CSE, CVR or GRIET?

Ans. Among these two, CVR is better for CSE. It has a dedicated faculty base. The institute has an active placement cell. The cell gets ample funding from the college management. It also has a better alumni network.  During CVR College of Engineering placements 2021, students received the highest CTC of INR 30.50 LPA. Oracle GBU, Amazon SDE, Adobe, were the major recruiters in the placement drive.Read more
