There are department elective courses that must be completed as part of the degree requirements, allowing students in the Power and Automation program to take core Electrical Engineering courses. Therefore, students in the Power and Automation track can become equivalent to those in the core Electrical Engineering program. Ultimately, there is no significant difference between IIT Delhi's Electrical core and Power Automation. The course curriculum is quite well structured and this department also has some of the industry experts as alumnus. The total tuition fee for this course is around 8 lakhs . If you want to avail of hostel accommodation, you will have to pay an extra amount. The placement record of this department is also good. The median salary in 2023 was around INR 22.07 Lakhs . Ans. Hi, everyone! Today, I'm excited to share the placement scenario of IIT Delhi in 2022. In 2022, almost every company visited and offered high CTCs to students. IIT Delhi broke its own placement record! According to the official report , a total of 1,250 offers were made during Phase 1 of IIT Delhi placements 2022. This is the highest number of offers ever received. The report also mentioned around 180 PPOs. Seven students opted for deferred placements (for startups and entrepreneurship) in Phase 1 of IIT Delhi placements 2021-22. Additionally, 40 international offers were made during Phase 1 of IIT Delhi placements 2021-22.
