I am a student of IIT Gandhinagar and I can say that the CSE department is one of the best departments in terms of curriculums and placements. IIT Gandhinagar offers 4 years full-time BTech program for CSE. The average course fee for the first year is around INR 2.29 Lakhs . IIT Gandhinagar holds a ranking of 18th position out of 200 colleges in the NIRF ranking. According to me, VIT Vellore is a better option for IT as compared to MAIT because of the following reasons- VIT Vellore offers  top class infrastructure  and  opportunities  for its students. The campus is visited by  top recruiting companies each year  because of which IT placements are quite good for VIT. These companies offer  good packages  to students during placements. The college offers ample  exposure  to IT students in the form of  internship offers, training offers, and student exchange programs.  The IT companies that visit VIT Vellore for placements are-  TCS, Wipro, Infosys,  and  Cognizant , among others.
