Faculty:

Faculties per student ratio is good. For every subject there are more than 3 professor. Relationship between faculties and students is something I really appreciate. Professors are very friendly and honest. Only they doesn't give any extra attendance. I like one professor from first year. Her name is sheeja miss. She is anatomy department. She is very kind and humble. She helps me a lot during my first year. A few professor I didn't like because they use more malayalam than english during their lecture hours. Course is 4.5 years + 1 years compulsory internship There are three proff. Each of 1.5years There is only one university exam at the end of each proff. Internal assessment- all proff. Is divided into three term and each term consist of three PA. All internal assessment is of 30 marks .. There is provision of year back if you failed in more than two subject. Only two or three students fails and got year back.

The medium of teaching is multilingual. Our college has students from all over the India.So the college management has made sure that all the students are comfortable and is able to follow the classes.
The college provides great opportunities and I would like to begin with the faculties.All the professors are well versed and excellent doctors.They are very strict in making sure that each student is well aware of the basic concepts.
Next I would like to mention about the clinical exposure.Our hospital is having a very good number of patients and cases in every single department which enables the students tonhave a very good practical knowledge regarding the theoretical portions.

Faculty:

The college has a good number of very eminent faculties.Each department is having a minimum of 4 faculties. During the commencement of an year every 4 student of a batch is assigned with a faculty as their mentor. The faculties are very approachable and very helpful. Regarding the exams... University exams are conducted to the end of the year Before that 2 internal exams and one model exam is conducted. It's necessary for the students to score a percentage of 35 in the above mentioned exams inorder to be deemed eligible to appear for the university exams. The exams are pretty easy to crack if a person has good knowledge with the syllabus.Both theory and practical exams will be conducted which requires a pass percentage of 50. Exam fee is around 700 rs for a single paper.

The new course which has been introduced is helping out children and giving deep knowledge and shapes them into good doctors It's a Lil hard to study due to shloka and sanskrit part but easily manageable if consistent

college which shapes future doctors

the faculty is top notch in my opinion. the academic competition among peers is quite remarkable.
teachers are ever ready to help which is quite good for a government college. the canteens are available in campus. there are few departments and hospitals which are scattered throughout the city.
the hospital is always full of patients and that is very important in practicing medicine. teachers are quite helpful in that aspect.

Faculty:

there are 14 departments in the college. there are at least 4 teachers in one department. the teachers are highly experienced and quite good in their job. they will leave no stones unturned. being an out of state student, i was a bit skeptical when i first came here but it's been very nice studying here. their main language is english to explain the concepts, since there are large number of malayali students they switch languages often. regarding approach, we can approach teachers anytime, they are ever ready to help. they can give time from their busy schedule as well.

Govt. Colleges have well trained and experienced faculties both in field of teaching and treatment. Faculties are mostly selected by the exams conducted by the Public Service Commission of the state. The minimum qualification of a professor was a post graduate degree but recently it was upgraded to a PhD.
