- The faculty is great; I can say it is one of the best faculties in the city of Kolkata.
- The experience in an internship matters the most as it is the time when we bring all our learning into practical application.
- Everyone who passes out from this college will surely become a doctor and must secure a job.
Dislikes
- The stipend is around ?23000, but the experience is horrible due to excessive workload, leaving the students with insufficient time to prepare for NEET-PG.
- There is only one hostel for girls called the Swarnamoyee Girls Hostel, in which not all girls are able to get accommodation.
- Our exam dates were preponed twice without any prior intimation for administrative reasons, which was a bad experience for us.

Extracurricular activities and labs should be given more importance and practical education needs to be promoted more, otherwise the experience is quite satisfactory. You will enjoy these 5.5 years in the college and hostel to your fullest.

Medical college kolkata is the oldest medical college in asia. Established in 1835. It is the most famous college in Kolkata for persuasion of MBBS. You can feel the vibes of ancient glory and recent medical advances in the campus. It is the first government medical college to have a heart transplant in Eastern India.
