NEET exam is conducted every year. For admission into this college, everyone has to give this exam after which selection is done through the merit list. This college is among the top medical institutes of the state, as a result I had an eye n this college from very beginning and wanted it.

Good in academics. Teaching is very good here. Library facilities are too good. People usually prefer this college because of climate of shimoga which is very pleasant. The overall campus experience was great here.

The college is well known in the south for producing good medical practitioners at a very feasible fee structure. The medical facilities of the college and the work of the doctors there is commendable too.

SIMS is one of the best college in Karnataka and people can learn more things. As it is goverment based college ,you will get to know all the govt schemes and get the opportunity to treat the needy. Faculty members are also well qualified. One can go for the studies over here if you are interested to do the PG.

Positively they r good in academics but not above average negatively food and hostel facilities are not good enough. Teaching is good. Library facilities are good. People usually prefer this college because of climate of shimoga. But climate is get worse. Good teachers are here from different places very well versed

The positive aspects about our college will definitely include the organisation of the committee which help develop the premises of the college. There are many committees in our college such as academic council committee, college council committee, institutional ethics committee, medical education committee, anti ragging committee and gender harassment committee.

Negative remarks : The hostel can be maintained better. The fests should be improved. Free internet or atleast paid internet should be provided in hostel ,as the network availability is either less or absent in the hostel. Positive remarks : The hospital is good with decent patient input. A new super speciality hospital is coming up soon

U can surely look up to this instituition if you want a happy cheerful and positive graduation experience ! This is the best instituition that i could have got and I have no regrets for have been choosing this college to pursue my dream of MBBS

College management is good since it is a government institution management depends upon the government rules.
