AKGEC Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placement are not that great, being a mechanical engineering student I can find companies coming for placement offers for a package ranging from 3 - 6 LPA. We are eligible for the placements in fourth year. The company also supports off campus placements.

I chose AIML because of its upcoming worth and we know AI is our future so there is a huge scope in this field. We have a decent student to faculty ratio in AKGEC like it is rare that you get a free lecture even when the faculty member is absent and most of the faculty members are phd holders whereas some are not but offer a decent learning to the students. About exams we have to give 1 ST 1 PUT (pre university) and 1 UT ( university examination ) the st's and put's are based on the difficulty level of ut itself and is not that tough to pass also prepares you well enough for UT examinations

Course curriculum in my opinion is outdated as Nit and iit have opted the new education policy from year 2023 on wards aktu has not even thought of it.it is teaching that old subjects like in first year I have chemistry, mechanics, electronics, maths1 and soft skills.

Students are eligible in the 3rd year(5th sem) for the placement. Several companies visit the college for placements and as the college got the highest MAAC grading (A++) in AKTU, it proved to be a great point of attraction for the companies to visit the campus and to see the potential of the students in the college. The highest package (on campus) was about 38lpa and off campus was of 1crore in Amazon (outside India). The placement is good on campus and the seniors are really helpful if you are ready to work but due to high competition you have to work very hard to get a good job which may vary from person to person.

Placement was average not good not bad. average package is 5.3lpa and only 60 % of student get placed most of them lies in 5 to 6 lap. Few students get 10 lpa +. This year's placement was not good due to the crisis. I hope it is good for next year.

Good college placements neither so good nor so poor have an average placement of 5.6lpa. Good competition among all the students. Don't judge this college based on the package it depends on how skilled you are if you have good skills you will be given the opportunity.

you get eligible for campus placement after the 6th semester and the placement drive is doing very well. many companies visited as Amazon, Microsoft, Walmart, Accenture, etc. The highest package was 1.13 crore but it was off campus. The package is 8.5 lakhs. almost 95% are getting placed. I'm going for a master's after my degree.

In my college, if you are studying well then u have got campus placement in 3rd year. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, and Paytm, visited our college, and at least 90% of students of cse placed.

My branch is Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as it's second most choosen branch in AKGEC Ghaziabad and ofcourse my interests drive me to this. Faculties are very supportive and helpful producing best results in AKTU through years. Faculty Ratio is 65:1. Exams are being conducted every month formally known as sessionals. Exams are easy to pass of you study in class well. Although night before exams can never be forgotten.

Placement is average in my college but all most all the students from the CSE branch got the placement on average package because coding culture is very less and the environment is not there for coding and development college only focuses on academics, not on building coding culture
