BMSIT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The college has to lay emphasis on placements reakated subjects than following the same old curriculum the requirements have to be changed and they should teach the basics for better understanding of the students in depth of the subject

In BMSIT, you are eligible for paid interships from 3rd or 4th semester only if you are having that skillsket which is required in the industry today. Placements have dropped a bit for the last year and this year they have also increased the intake.

Placement of your college is very good in comparison with any private engineering colleges in north. Last year placement was 95% and average package was 10lakhs but this year due to recession it was around 85% .

Our college placements are amazing!! Our college brings a wide range of companies from top teir to small start up comanpies that offer really good packages based on your abilities . We also have placement training which helps us prepare better for placements . The average package that our college offers is about 8 lakh and last year the highest package was 46 lakh which is more as compared to what other top colleges have to offer.

The students will be eligible to attend campus placements from the start of 7th semester. There are many top notch companies that visit BMSIT&M like major IT companies - accenture, capegemini, cognizant, HCL, Tech mahindra, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, amazon, dell, HP, siemens, adobe, Oracle and many more. The highest CTC is 46lpa and least is 3.5lpa and the averaga CTC is 7.5lpa. About 80% of students are seen getting placements even during the recession. I am being indecesive between going through placements or continuing my studies.

I would suggest this college to my fellow associates and the teaching methods are very student friendly. There are two internal assessments per sem and a final semester ending examination along with practical examinations . There is controlled frequency to the timings of exams.

Campus Placement Eligibility is Students typically become eligible for campus placements starting from the 6th sem the highest package is 15 to 20 LPA and average package is 4 to 7 LPA and companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, IBM, and Accenture come for IT and for core branchs , L&T,JSW, TATA and Siemens etc

Overall placements of the college is decent with a plethora of companies inculding amazon coming to our college for recruitment process. Average package varies around the respective disciplines with ISE topping other courses with an average package of 12L per annum. Nearly 90% students get placements with the rest of them starting their own enterprises. Personally, everyone get some results , but the journet is what is important , and our college provide a fun experience for that.

There is about 85 percent placement happening this year. It varies from branch to branch. The lowest is three lpa and the highest would be 26 lpa. Students get placement opportunities from the 6th semester itself. There's a dedicated placement training cell that looks after this.

Placement start from 6th or 7th semester.And the placement for IT courses Ane very good.Placements for core engineering courses are not that good.Almost every IT courses student is placed(95% student).More than 150 companies visit every year.Highest package is of 46lpa.
