Our campus have 11 college's out of which one college is Dr.D.Y.Patil College of Engineering Akurdi.Students come here as the infrastructure is quite good our college has a competitor that is we have 2 college's nearby in our area so there is a great competition regarding the results and placement

College have the name and fame and placements are also good for IT and CS. But it should be more strict on attendance and discipline. And it should encourage students to participate in more n more competition.

I think their may not be any negative point for the College. And the positive points are mentioned above. The Campus is very Clean and Green. The housekeeping staff always keeps the campus clean. The canteen of the College also has a great food. they also provides with monthly mess to the hostel students.

The college management is overall good in all things. They Takes right decision on time to time in point of view students benefit.

this college is definitely good if you are introvert or you are not more curricular activity type person it's like it will balance your academic and extracurricular activities like you have to maintain your regular attendance your extracurricular activities as well as your studies is this your not going well in your studies on academic the definitely ask you to cut your name from your curricular activities and teachers are strictly don't allow you to do anything else during their lecture time but overall you will get a youth support from all department all HOD and teachers if you have any personal issues you can discuss with them openly even if the issues of hostel of homesickness they are there with you but if you are not an extraordinary student or just an average student then you have to work little hard to impress teachers to give them confidence that you can handle your academics and your curricular activities so then they must stand with you for that you have to prove yourself and one more. Last but not the least that in the first year you are not allowed at a time any college events like you can attend them but you can't be participating them you can't participate in a club or in any extracurricular activities you can be just a gas stove there but not a participant not organizer nothing.

DY Patil college is known for it's best infrastructure in Pune city with good placement records. Entire college team take efforts to deliver good learning experience to students.

GOOD FOR STUDENTS WHO WANTS TO BE SUCCESSFUL. Academics of college is excellent. Less events of sports. College mess is expensive not giving quality food. Less freedom for students. Compared to other colleges in Pune one the best college for engineering.
