Placements at the government college of engineering, amravati (gcoea) are reasonably strong, with top companies like capgemini, wipro, and persistent systems recruiting students.
Yes, colleges scholarship department always help to students for getting scholarship.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is some of poor. only first and second year students staying.
Placements must have to improve college uniform is not so good
There is a lot of water issue in our hostel, which is annoying

My college life experience

Likes

I liked my college campus and the departments are nice
The cultural and sports events are so nice and excellent
The hostel is good and conformtable and also fees is also less only with a maintenance charges of 2000 per year

Dislikes

I don't like the Evaluation pattern of electronics department specially
Their is no friendly environment for boys and girls friendship and other
The administrative building is so old and not even getting renew

Placement Experience:

Placements for the course computer science and Information technology are more as compare to other core departments and so I have decided to do MBA after this engineering B-tech course . From the 6th or 7th semester students get eligible for the campus placements

the college campus and infrastructure is way to awesome including greenery and cherished environment
the faculties and supportive regarding academics and well as extra curriculur activities

Dislikes

canteen facility is poor and need to improve the quality of food .

Placement Experience:

from the 7th semester students are eligible for appearing in campus placement. some well-known companies that visit our college every year are Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro, Capgemini, etc of an average package of 4 to 5 lakhs. every year around 50 to 60 students get placed on campus placement.I would like to appear for the placements and catch up with a good job in any renowned IT company.

Mostly i like the campus of college . There is college level sport compition every year named as KCT (kalpana chawla troph ) includes all games .
In college every year students organize many programs

Dislikes

No after college doubt support for students
Very less permanent faculties many subjects are teaches by temporary faculties

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is in traditional way it is about old technologies and no morden technologies are included . There are many chapters which have no real world applicatins there is need to revise syllabus and add new technologies like mern stack devlopment

GCOEA - College review.

Likes

The vast campus. It sure has the big place to roam and have peace of mind, surrounded with greenary. And the playground it quite useful in various specialized game.
The tech fest is quite amusing, various colleges joins us in it and enjoy the tech fest with variety of brilliant ideas and games, which makes the event a great success.
The course I'm in is hard to study and learn ,we have to study hours to score good marks, teacher staff also encourage students for their outstanding ideas.

Dislikes

The fest , as we imagine it's not same college life, we only have fest in a year and for rest of time we have change the calendar .
We have shortage of labs for various subjects, to gain experience we atleast have to perform it in lab.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I wanted to get seat in computer science department but I got the electronic and telecommunication, I have made the right choice as it'll help in various specialized field like software, CPU manufacturing, Logic gates ic manufacturing and other things also .

GCOEA is good college

Likes

Best thing is college is autonomous and government college
I like mostly the clubs college have . Students are gathering together and do fun
Faculties are also too good , placement also have major impact of college because of old type.

Dislikes

Campus is not so much big than I thought

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester all students can eligible for placements. There are many companies like Samsung, Wipro , TCS, tech Mahindra, Siemens, joho, Infosys visited and provide placements . Average package they gave 4 to t Lpa . And 70 percent students got placements

The campus placements is average for the core branch average packege is 5lach per anum and CS IT branch its more than core branch but now days the core branch student are placed thand the other branch

some faculty members dont take lectures on time

in 7 th semseter students become eligible for seating in placement round only if one has no active backlog in academics with gpa 7.5 and more .ZOHO TCS ADANI such companies visit every year and gives avg package of 6-7lpa

Their are good placement in tech and non tech field number of companies visited like Samsung,cognizant, tcs, wipro, adani, relience, lnt and many more min package are 4 lakh and average package gave about 5 lakh and highest package around 15 to 18 lakh. percentage of placement are good

Faculties of our department are very friendly in nature
Placement ratio is quite good for Tech branches
There is a hostel for girls from 1st yr to 4th yr.Girls get seats of hostel according to their pointer.

Dislikes

One Building constituent 2-3 departments. There is no separate building for each department only Civil branch had their own building

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it is highly recommended course. Placement ratio of CSE students are good. Course had theory as well practical subjects which forces us to do coding which are good for our placement. DSA is compulsory if we want to go for campus placement.

Likes

Hostel facility in less fees it helps the needy people to live for 2 years and it is based on percentile and catagory
Wifi in whole campus in all the department wifi is available so everyone can access free internet
Availability of e library which help the student a better place for study

Dislikes

Campus development is poor there are jungle in campus and somewhere lights are also not available
Not have ground to play there is only one ground and no cricket perfect peach in ground there are grass and in night there are no lights available
Faculties are not as good as much they crate hard papers and also hard checking

Placement Experience:

From 5 th sem students become eligible for campus placement companies like adani and tata are offering placement every year placement rate is more than 50 percent i will do job in company after having my degree highest package is 18 lakh ,12 lakh and average package is 4-6 lakh
