The college campus is grateful and environmental is very beautiful the teaching staff is very intelligent and the college placement is average and the hostel is very clean and provide many scholarships the college orgabnise many event thats very grea
Placements at the government college of engineering, amravati (gcoea) are reasonably strong, with top companies like capgemini, wipro, and persistent systems recruiting students.
Yes, colleges scholarship department always help to students for getting scholarship.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is some of poor. only first and second year students staying.
Placements must have to improve college uniform is not so good
There is a lot of water issue in our hostel, which is annoying

Placement services, facilities and teaching methods
Workshops and seminar, cultural and technical programs
Outdoor and indoor games like kho-kho, Carom etc

Dislikes

Some roads Of campus are not well, at the time rainy there is chance to slip
There is no auditorium available in college
There should be parking slots for each branch because departments are very far from main parking slot

The new technologies like robotics, and web development are very aspects affecting my decision to choose this course. In the curriculum, there are programming languages in our curriculum prepare us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits. New interesting current technologies should be present in the curriculum.

GCOEA is a good one .

Likes

It has a very big campus with so many trees .
Many more clubs with active club activities.
Cultural Festivals happens in most unique way .

Dislikes

Not very much developed campus with under construction .
Very hard academics and curriculum than you think .
Many restrictions and hard discipline is given.

Placement Experience:

Our college offer good campus placement with good packages but with criteria of no current backlogs and with cgpa above 7 and some companies even recomend excellent students with no backlogs in history of engineering with cgpa greater than 8

GCOEA and its openness

Likes

It has much bigger campus with including nature and trees.
It has many active clubs and they take initiatives to recruit new members.
Here, various types of cultural frests happens in most unique ways.

Dislikes

Campus is vary big but not fully developed.
Development is under process for hostel and other buildings.
Academics is harder than you think that it should be.

Placement Experience:

Our college offers good placement opportunities but they have criteria for campus placement. Some companies have different cgpa criteria but every company have one common criteria fron campur placement that is to have currently no backlogs.

Likes

I like the campus environment of my college.Faculties are too supportive they always guide us that how to do studies.
I also like the teaching methods used in our college. They teach us on screen via ppts and whenever there's a need they us board to explain concepts
They take workshops seminars to built knowledge which are not included in our syllabus.They also take technical and cultural festivals.

Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very well because there are practically lab related with each subject so that we can learn the subject practically as well as theoretically.And we learn how exact the work done practically in labs.

The environment of our college is very nice.
Environment of our college is energetic.

Placement Experience:

The placement in our government college of engineering is good. Many companies came here for the offering job opportunities. Our faculty trained the student of our institute in such a way that he or she can easily get placed.

The life at GCOEA

Likes

I like the environment of my college which created by the teachers, they provide a good lectures And try to make a good engineer for the furure of country
Library facility and the service we get is good and comandable the scheme name as pustakpedhi is really a good initiative taken by library

Dislikes

The teacher only take care of syllabus completion, and gives theoretical knowledge more than a practical,
Labs are not good,instrument in the lab are not working properly, some of them shows wrong result and some of them not working

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is too old and mostly theory base, it should be a practical, course should be redesigned according to today's technology and today's problems, it should change the way of teaching it is more practical. Tge exams are held on time.

College campus is very nice and huge with the area 105 acres
College provide hostel facility to first year and second year student .name of hostel is 'New Boys Hostel'
College faculty have good knowledge about subject and very supportive

Dislikes

Collage infrastructure is little bit old from 1965
College location is not in industrialist area which results in low placement package
Sport event are not so much good and faculty not supportive in sport event

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students are eligible for campus placement Companies like Wipro with averageg 6 7 lpa, Cognizant, Amazon with 17 lpa Samsung private limited , banglore with 19 lpa And others are nvidia , l&t And TCS is main here comes every year With 9 lpa max and average 5 lpa 95% placement in computer science and information technology breaches. My plan is to give gate and complete mtech from an IIT

The vast campus area is one of the most attractive part of our college there are building of each department and labs for each of the practical subject

I like the campus of college its good for study as it is too much environmental friendly

Dislikes

I dislike the partiality between the branches as study is to much tougher to branch like entc,civil etc than the cs it branch

Placement Experience:

Placement for the college is not too much good but not too much bad but this time the Placement for electronics branch is less as the not more companies visited but its also on your talent you will definitely get internships or Placement in any company otherwise you have go off campus for Placement

Likes

I liked the way teachers teach us in a very easy language.
I liked the practical skills they give us.
Theory lectures are very well understood.

Dislikes

Regularity of lectures is not maintained.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for the placements is from third year onwards. Every department has some of the companies visited. Some of the companies visited are TCS, Microsoft, etc. Although numbers of students getting placed vary every year, packages can go from 3LPA to 15LPA.
