Placements at the government college of engineering, amravati (gcoea) are reasonably strong, with top companies like capgemini, wipro, and persistent systems recruiting students.
Yes, colleges scholarship department always help to students for getting scholarship.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is some of poor. only first and second year students staying.
Placements must have to improve college uniform is not so good
There is a lot of water issue in our hostel, which is annoying

Likes

I like here the college campus, and also the premises.
The teaching style and also the extra caricular activities which always taken by the college.
Also many more things like the academic, as lectures are taken every day and very seriously.

Dislikes

The infrastructure could be better than this
The college building is so old as the college is so old.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college is quite good as there so many multinational companies are come for the placements. Like TCS,Adani, atc. According to percentage the students getting job are minimum 90% get jobs because some are going for there masters!

Teaching faculty is very friendly. Also they are very helpful
Placements and more opportunities to develop our skills
Campus is very best. With good environment and nature

Dislikes

Placements must have to improve college uniform is not so good

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are two exams in one semester that is end semester and mid semester examination. Both are arranged every semester. The difficulty level is more. Also strict checking is there. Course curriculum do not have any need of improvement it is already good.

The college fees is quite less and affordable
The facilities provided is good like wifi and computer labs
The curriculum is not that tough and complicated

The curriculum is not modern its is still following the old curriculum
The college is not providing any internship

The college provides placmemt and the placement process is quite decent the companies like tata and persistence and many other companies come to our college for recruitment and the average package is four lakhs and highest package can go up to 15 lakhs but it changes every year

Good campus along with number of extra curriculum activities like sports event, cultural fest, techinal events and many more active clubs. Along with this having one of the oldest college in vidarbh with experienced teaching staffs. Having huge campu

Dislikes

Management of the college is that good. As the college development fess is around 40 k but development in infrastructure in not as fast as it could be. Along with this the maintances of the college ground is not there it is maintain only during event

The curriculum is 2.5 times more than the curriculum of the university exams curriculum thus you got vast syllabus to study and many of the concept are releated to the practical knowledge not only based on theoretical knowledege on6

The college campus is nice, everything is available in campus itself
Such as canteen, gym facilities and cooperative store

Dislikes

The thing I dislike the most that the paper checking is not good
The infrastructure of classes are that much good

There are some companies that come every year in our college campus for recruitment of Students of each and every department, some companies are Tata consultancy and services, Wipro,L and T and many more.

Towards developing self and college

Likes

The most important thing I loved about college was their facility for the hostel. Very nice hostels provided far more than expected.
College is huge around 115 acres of land with various sports events which are conducted actively in the college including technical fests and gathering.
I also loved the various technologies provided by the college and good teaching staff .

Dislikes

Teachers do not focus on students individually which shows the Student teacher lack of bonding.
Not very well known companies come for placement.
College doesn't provide internship for students

Placement Experience:

From about 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Companies which visited our college are TCS, Mahindra , Adani , Infosys, NVDIA , LNT , MacDonald,Vipro etc. Highest package is about 17+ lakh package . About 80-90 percentage of the students get placed if there's no recession. My plans is to opt for competitive exams after completing my degree.

Good Infrastructure, Social Activities and many more
Huge Lush green Campus with all basic Amenities.
A large cultural fest with excellent zenith event.

Dislikes

Placements are okay. But more campus Placements can be done
Teaching is good but more focus is needed to be given.
AC's should be installed in each and every class.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the beginning of 7th semester. Various companies such as L&T, Samsung, TCS and many more companies visit for placements. Highest package was offered 14.5 LPA by Samsung and average package is expected 7 LPA.

Campus is good and well maintained . Event happens here in a good form . There is availability of wifi everywhere in campus

Dislikes

College cantin is not good most of the things are not available in cantin.

Placement Experience:

Placements for our department are not there . For other departments like instru , elpo, IT , cse are very good . Percentage of students placed in our department is 0% and other departments are like 30% ,50% .

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for the placement. TCS, TCE, Crave, Hexaware, IBM, Nvidia, wily edge, and blue altair are some of the companies that offer placement around 5-7 LPA. the percentage of students getting placed Is 50%

our faculties are may be lazy or something (not all of them) them avoid taking classes more than avoid attending them and this is not such a problem because we get time to do other thing but this also not consistent for all branches .
in entc after 1st year no. of classes reduced ,in cs people hardly go to college,but in it it is very much opposite the have assignments seminars presentation every now and them

Dislikes

infrasrtucture was bad for 1 st year civil and electrical but now they are inproving it rappidly not such big deal,still not good infra compare to private colleges
not every one get hostel mainly boy only 10 to 12 student get hostel based on marks and CASTE but fee is 100 around to 500 PER YEAR which is less so the all collectively maintain it
main concern about college is BACKLOGS specialy in Entc(don't go for ENTC) in m1 there where 218 student appered for BACKLOG EXAM and 200 failed again (giving tough competition to UPSE)

here comes slightly better part of college soo pplacement not good but not bad also compare to private colleges and most of the students used to get placed after covid but now there are less placements but thi year market of job itself is very low so no colleges issue
