- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

Placement Experience:
From 7 semester students are eligible to sit in placements were a number of companies can both technical and non-technical in technical Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra such companies come to recruit the students and in non Tech Haldia petrochemicals Johnson control and Meghalaya cement such companies come here and the highest package they offered is 23 LPA but the average package is 4 lakh per annum almost 80% of a student gets placed.

Placement Experience:
From the very 5th semester students become eligible to get their placements. Many service based companies like TCS ,WIPRO, IBM , etc comes to the college and give placement. The highest package offered till now is 42LPA . In CSE stream the placement percentage is 88.7 percent
My plans are to give my level best and then try to get placement in the large MNCs

campus placements are so good all companies visits in this college and higher maximum students. Students have quality then they should get opportunities in the good and well-definied company. All over HIT is so good.

As I have seen many students got placements in their 3rd year as well but most of the students of the college got placed in the almost 7-8th semester so I think anyone who is attentive towards his/her career should easily be placed.

Students start getting internship and placement opportunities after 5th semester many companies are coming like TCS Infosys Wipro IBM Capgemini etc company visited our college and they hire students they conduct a coding exam based on above the data structures algorithm firat then an interview round conducted Placement is good enough if you have sincere enough then you will get placed in any company but if you want to get to google company then you have to work hard because of competition at time but college do there best

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for placement
Placement record above 90 percent every year with company like wipro,cognizant,infosis visting the campus
Also, other companies like tech Mahindra also recruit from HIT and if you have good knowledge about brach then you can easily get a package of more than 5 lakh per year
And one thing or the institute is located in Industrial belt apart from experience you will get everything at Haldia. After getting the degree everyone wants a job so I will also try to get a campus job and then will think about further studies.

There are good placements here, this year up to 95% of students got placed from my branch. This year the highest package was 25 lakh. There are a lot of companies who come for placements in my college. The internship is good. You should know programing language also.

Some students gots placed in 3rd sem but mostly of students gots placed 6th or 7th Sem in campus placement.
CTS, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, IBM are the company visited in the college.
80 to 90 percentage students got placed through campus placement.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
