Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college

Dislikes

The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

Nice college with a beautiful campus life

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college are well good. Almost 80% of the students are placed every year. From the sixth semester, students are eligible for the placements. The lowest package starts from 3.5 lakhs and the highest it can go up to 24 lakhs as it is mentioned on the website. The top companies which come to the campus are Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc. Many students get more than one job so jobs are sufficient it depends on the individual that how he or she performs. The majority of the students get placed either by the college or on their own. Top roles are design engineer, system engineer, architect-engineer control engineer, etc. My plans are for further studies or will do the job

Placement Experience:

7 and 8 Semester students are eligible for the campus placements in which many companies come such as Wipro tech Mahindra Meghalaya cement Johnson control Meghalaya cement Haldia petrochemicals non technical companies offer in bulk opportunities of placement in which most of the students are placed around 75% of students are placed every year. The highest package is 12 lakh average package is 3.5 lakh.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students can sit in a placement program. Many company visits here such as tech Mahindra, wipro, Meghalaya, cement, nescafe, haldia, petrochemicals, jhonson control. Highest package is 12-13 lakhs averageis 3.5 lakhs. Around 75% students get placement. My plan is to do mtech after btech so i am not interested in placement scenarios.

Placement Experience:

I am in my third year right now but what I saw was that almost 90% of my seniors got their placement. After having this degree I would try to get placement in a good company and will influence my talents. As I always wanted to be an engineer.

What you will experience in Haldia Institute Of Technology

Placement Experience:

Just want an MNC job or a PSU and a reputed position and working hard for it. They are very good companies with low packages they are also good but everyone has a dream to fulfill. The college has good results almost every student from all branches gets placed. And it also depends on students how are prepared for the Job.

Better and a Quality education

Placement Experience:

As talked the placement scenario is good in my college as well as in my department. Students can get jobs according to their capabilities. This year one student has grabbed two to three jobs which is not an easy task. From the sixth semester students becomes eligible for the campus placements and start their internships and industrial training for getting jobs. Many companies visit our college like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Haldia petrochemicals, Meghalaya Cement, etc and many more. If a student is good he or she will definitely get a job from the college. The highest and lowest salary totally depends upon the individual that how they perform in front of the interviewers and their capabilities and speaking skills. The minimum salary starts from 3.5 lakh per annum and the highest it can go to the capability of the individual. Talking about the overall placement of college around 70 percent of students get placed and in our branch, almost 95 percent of students get a job.

YOU'LL LIVE BEYOND YOUR EXPECTATIONS HERE IN HALDIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was not sure about this course at first and I was scared at first while opting into it but it changed with time. AEIE has loads of opportunities, be it at core companies or at software companies. You will get to learn about both the sectors here, here you are not bound to read a single concept of your course, which made my mind to not change my branch. Faculties here are very helpful, won't say you will learn everything by them, obviously, you got to do your grind here. Teachers are extremely qualified here, few of them are still pursuing their career in higher studies and some are writing and publishing their research papers. The teaching method is obviously the same as any other college that has one on one interactive classes. You get enough time to prepare for your semester exams and they are timely termed, you'll face problems only if you have not studied anything and so it is only difficult for those students. The difficulty is moderately fine for regular students.

Placement Experience:

our college placement is good and most of them get a job after passing out .there are lot of companies like infosys,wipro and many more are visiting here.The average package of our college is around 5+lpa.and if someone is good enough then they might get a package of near 10 lpa.I think, most of them are getting placed in good companies and CS,I.T and E.C.E are the fruitful branch for these.But as a electrical engineering, i have seen that core company are not coming too much so, I have to prepare for the software section together to sit for the company.And,most of my branch students are placed in more than two companies and also get a enough opportunity to move ahead.I am thinking of joining a reputed software company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college has various streams for all the children who are interested in different fields. There are almost 2 classes for each branch. The college also organizes many fests and workshops, which is very much enjoyable. There are a nice number of teachers per student, There is a mentor for every 10 students and they are very helpful

A nice college where one can set their FUTURE.

Placement Experience:

Honestly speaking I am a final year student of ECE I got placed in 3+ companies. But one truth is there as well that here placements for core branches are not good even negligible I would say. so if would suggest that if you want admission in CSE, IT or ECE then only you can trust on this college. Otherwise taking admission other than these branches can cost you in the future as well.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC

Courses:

The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.

Placements:
