Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college

Dislikes

The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

A brief of Haldia Institute of Technology

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am currently a 2nd-year student in this college and i would like to say that faculty members are well qualified and supportive. some of them are doing some research and most of them are Phd holders.As i have not appeared for ofline exam so i don't know much about examination process.

Honest Review of Hit Haldia

Placement Experience:

When I talking about the placement scenario first of all hit gives you 100% placement with average package of 4 lakh in 2020 highest package was 40 lpa. From 3rd year you are eligible here to seat in placement and companies are starting to visit college from third year .

Nice College

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students are eligible for Campus Placement. Infosys and Wipro are mass recruiters of the students. They take Almost 50% of the Students for jobs. The highest package was 24 lacs & the average package is 5-6 lacs. Almost 65-75% of students got placed.

Vivid Description of Haldia Institute of Technology

Placement Experience:

The placement of Haldia Institute of Technology is average. In campus placements the companies that comes for recruiting generally offers a package of 3.5 lakhs per annum and those are service based companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc. On campus placements, product based companies doesn't come for recruiting you can try developing your competitive coding skills which will land you in product based companies. The highest package offered in off campus till date is 24 lakhs per annum. Byjus comes for recruiting which generally offers a package of 7 lakhs per annum. The placement percentage for CSE/IT departments is above 85% , for ECE it is somewhere around 75%. The placement record of core branches is not good.

A better college to choose

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible after 5 th semester for intership in campus placement and students after 6 th semester are eligible for placement opportunities,tcs ,wipro and many others company come and they offer to the qualified person their job, A core branch students can sit in the placement of it company so ,it total on capacity of the student almost 70+ percentage students get placed highest package is 24 CTC and average is 3.5ctc but in case of chemical engineering it is approx95+

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, the internship season ends and the companies start their recruitment process. So, hence students from the 6th semester become eligible for campus placements. More than 240 companies visit our college during the campus placements and the top hiring companies are TCS DIGITAL, WIPRO Ltd., FLIPKART, BAJAJ, JUSTDIAL, PEPSICO, HCL TECHNOLOGIES, INFOSYS, ITC Ltd., BAJAJ, SONY CORPORATION, and BHARTI AIRTEL. During the campus placements in the year 2019, some of the top companies like FLIPKART and INFOSYS had offered a record-breaking package of 26 lakhs per annum and the average package offered by other companies ranges between 4-5 lakhs per annum. Basically at the end of the 3rd year, almost 60-70% of the CSE and IT students successfully get their placement and the rest of the students surely gets placed in their final year.

Placement Experience:

From the third year of a BTech course, a student is capable of sitting in the placement. The average package is 4 lakh and the highest is 12 lakh. The placement percentage is 78%. This much I only know about placement as I have other plans after getting the degree.

Brief review of our college - [HIT], Haldia

Placement Experience:

There are many companies came in our college like Core Company software company and Chemical company. The placement scenario for chemical engineering Food Technology and computer science engineering students are very good. The ECE department and electrical department are also placed in a software company. The companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini Infotech, Accenture and many big product-based companies came to a college for campus placement. The average package of College campus placement is 3.7 lakhs per annum and the highest package is 24 lakhs annum.

Brief idea about Haldia Institute of Technology

Course Curriculum Overview:

Though I had chosen the civil engineering department by passion I lose it when I entered this institution. Here faculty student ratio was around 1:50. But the quality of teaching and teaching techniques of the faculty members were very poor. College is not concerned about the quality of knowledge they are providing to the students in each department. All the instruments were available in the labs but again the standard of faculty members hammered down everything. Most of the faculty members were holding their master's degree from reputed IIT's but the quality of knowledge they provided was below the average mark. Except for poor academics, one can't get any practical knowledge from workshops, seminars or training as this institute hardly arrange any. Term exams were not a matter of concern there as this institute arranges a home exam centre. So there is huge freedom to the students????, just students need to buy an Organiser.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC

Courses:

The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.

Placements:

As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.

Fest:

The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
