IEM Kolkata (IEM Saltlake) Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Mostly from 3rd semester and 4th student become eligible. Many IT companies comes for offering placement, iem have great network among companies. Tcs, Capgemini, PWC, cognizant, Wipro..many more comes but for core fields few are there such as Borosil. The placement package is average for most..but if you work hard you'll get a decent placement. Mostly 80% students gets placement maybe few more. My plans after completing the degree is either building startup or moving abroad for job...if nothing happens then I'll look for job here and then study on robotics.

From 7th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. Wipro , pwc, tcs etc. Highest package can reach upto 9lpa. Average package is 3lpa. Placement percentage is good around 80% students get jobs. I will try to get a job or opt for higher studies.

From 3rd year onwards the placement is starting and many reputed companies come to our college for placement. IEM is the no 1 private engineering college which provides best placement in West Bengal in every year.

I wanted to become an eng. since my childhood. The syllabus gives the theoretical knowledge but faculties keeps us motivating towards real world skills and research oportunities. Exams can be taken more frequently. 2 midsem exams and 1endsem. in a sem

The college provides 100% placement in companies like Amazon TCS and many start-up companies there is a placement cell in the college campus which helps the students to know more about corporate life.

Placements are very good. company are very reputed company. Highest package was 6l LPA . 90% students getting placed in reputed company like Deloitte, Capgemini,TCS,Wipro , Accenture. After getting the degree many people did their jobs and other will go for MCA.

They are quite decent as most of the students in the batch gets placed. Students become eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester. Amazon, Accenture, PWC and other companies have visited the campus and made 3-4 number of offers. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue MBA.

From 5th semester students are eligible for campusing , many reputed companys like tcs, cognizant , ibm , croma , Infosys, Deloitte and many companies come and put nice placement offers Highest package offers was 20 lakh per annum, 80 Percent students get placement, after getting the degree will pursue for mba

The subjects in this course are very interesting From studying BBA I can start my own business The teaching methods are overall good and the faculty members are very helpful This course makes you ready for corporate life

The Discipline this college have is best for our future to be an employee of any company. Teaching methods can be improved. Teachers must use white boards and moreover smart class must be made for students. No exams for entrance In a semester there are 2 mid terms and one final semester exam.
