IEM Kolkata (IEM Saltlake) Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

IEM is college well knowed for its method of study and placements.Famous companies such as TCS, Capgemini, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, etc hire employees from IEM. The Highest package went upto 1cr on campus placement and over 1.5cr in off campus placements. More 90% of students get placed at the end of 4th yr.

Students become eligible for campus placements after 4th semester. Different companies like TCS, Deloitte, Capgemini , Wipro etc. visit the campus for interviews and placements. Average package is 2-4 lakhs per annum.

The faculty members are good and friendly if we don't disturb them they helps a lot . In these 3 years course we have 6 semester exams and before every semester, two 30 marks exams are conducted to check our preparation, but a issue is there practical exams are done only in semester exams not before that which may be a problem for some for some not depending on persons . We have enough faculty members for controlling a mass of students of count 500 only in 1 year .

From the third semester students become eligible for campus placements A lot of companies visited I am like as Wipro Infosys delloyet TCS etc. Almost 90% students got placements from the college. After getting the degree my plan is to join master degree MCA

I Choose this course because this college has a very good Placement in this Degree There is a large number of Faculty members who are always available to support student 1 on 1. The Exams are too timely and easy to clear if you study well.

there was 6 semester in the whole 3 years of bca degree.after 3rd semester students got placements on the campus many companys are there in the campus of iem. the placements are held on iem main campus which is the main addmission cell of IEM

I choose this course because I believe that these course will provide me with the bright future and also are supportive and study lifestyle many students nowadays also go with this lying along with engineering and doctor.

Average pakage per year is 600000 . It is a decent pakage offered as it provide better knowledge and better experience. The placement history is very must increasing from past years . Students get placed in bigger companies from this college

7th and 8th sem students are eligible for campus placement. I don't have any real data about no of offers made by company. College say that above 90 percentage students got placed. Average package is 5LPA and in 2023 highest package is 44LPA that is offcampus. I am planning to get a JOB in any startup or I will start my career in hedge fund and trading.

Course curriculum is very tidious you have to Attend lots of subjects faculty members are good but if you belongs to other states then you can face the challenge with languages .. 75% attendance is mandatory
