IEM Kolkata (IEM Saltlake) Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

If we talk about the placements of this college then the placements of this college is really good. Student from 7th semester become eligible for coampus placements. There is many famous companies who visit campus for placements, some of them are :- Abzooba , Capgemini , cognizant GenC Next , Cognizant , Ernst & Young , GreyB , Infosys (specialist programmer) , Infosys ( Systems Engineer) , NRI Fintech, TCS Digital , TCS Ninja, Wipro , etc. Highest package was 40 Lakhs in amazon but it was off campus and average package in campus is 4-5 Lakhs. Almost every eligible stdudents had 2-3 placement offers.

From semester 5 they starts preparation of aptitude section through extra classes. TCS ,Wipro and cognizant etc mostly IT sector company come into the college. Highest package is 1200000 and average package is 45000.90% students selected through placement.

Approx 85-90 percent of students get placed every year. And the highest package. from our branch received ranges from 10-15 lakhs. Most of the students get placed by the mass recruiters here like Infosys, cognizant, Wipro, etc.

From 3rd year you are eligible for on-campus placement. Placement ratio is also good , 85-90% students get placement. Average placement lies between 5-6 lakhs. In majority service based company visit here. IEM is known for two things 1. Discipline and 2 . Placement

The first year, as in any engineering course, is a common curriculum for all streams. From the second year, the mainstream-centric curriculum is followed. The faculty here is quite good, though there is a lot of room for improvement.

I don't confirm which student is eligible for campus placement but in my opinion, you are applicable for campus placement in the 7th semester. Many companies come to this college and give an excellent package to students and especially for CSE students who get very good placement the average package is 6-7 lakh and the median package is 5 lakh for CSE students. For CSE student 100% placement

Placements are more or less good in our college. The NAAC accreditation is A grade so you can understand. Many students also opt for CAT for MBA. As it is in salt lake, many good it companies make a visit regularly.

The placement of IEM KOLKATA are average . You can easily get 5-6LPA if you are focus in IEM KOLKATA. There are many mass recruiters Company visits in the Campus like as TCS, WIPRO, COGNIGENT, etc. And Some good company are visite in College like as IBM, HITACHI, etc. And the placement are 80%-90% are Done in every year.

From 7th sem students can sit for placement but the prep starts as soon as you enter the college. There are all mass recruiters and some (10-15) big companies like sankalp semiconductors, NRI fintech, TCS Digi, hack with infi, CTS prima, alpha, etc. The percentage of students placed is already written in the previous part of the review. Basically, I will go for MBA after BTech and am planning to crack CAT.

IEM college has a very placement record. this year during the pandemic the highest package is 42 LPA in the ECE stream with an average of 7 LPA. the college also provides internship and GATE preparation. Amazon, Tcs, infoyss Alien Pvt, Ernst & Young Pvt, grey are some companies who visited this college
