MITS Gwalior Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

There is a placement cell and I thinks it is good and it gives placements but not that much acceptable as not all students got on campus placement many students try for off campus placement and go there as many got good opportunity there rather than here.

Placements in my college is very good in this college, Students become eligible for the placements in the seventh semester and the companies visited in this college are eicher, atlassian , tcs Infosys, etc. and many good offers were made. Highest package offered in the college was 18 LPA and the average package in the college is 4.5 LPA. Placement Percentage is 68%

From 7th sem student are eligible for placements. Many companies visited in college and many offers were made. As per our institution website the highest placement is 1cr. and average package is around 15 lakhs. Almost 70 Percent students get placed. My plan is to get placed in a good company.

From 3rd year yoy are eligible for internships and placements. Many companies (around 25 to 30)come every year like google, ola, etc,. And offers are made on student capabilities. Average package is of 600k too 700k yearly. And some companies offer less than that. But somtimes it goes in crores too. Placement percentage is less around 50%.

Students are eligible from 3rd sem for placements Many companies like Amazon, Infosys, TCS and Accenture have visited our college. The highest package is 1cr and average package is 4.5 lakh 90% of students are placed successfully. I plan to do a job, and apply for mtech after few years.

Overall Course curriculum is Good for the fundamental and overall growth for students , It includes computer science portion along with design which allow me to know about the overall structure of the computer system and its architecture. The overall flow of course makes me feel comfortable with real world problems like development, designing etc. Activity Based learning can Be indulged so that we can be more close to real world problems rather than just focusing on GPA marking system. Our Institute have 2 Mid semester exams with the time span between them is of a month . The difficulty level of these are not very much these are just basic questions done in class before the exams . After these 2 mid sem we have a final Exams termed as End Semester Exam. Which are 50 percent of our total Marks distribution.

Well the bestest decision for an engineering student is to opt a course of computer science or IT as it is the field which has many chances of placement along with highest package. They are applicable in real world application too.. well in my college in computer science they have not included engineering drawing which must be a part in which they lacks. I too agreed that mid sems and end sems are quite easy and can be attempted without issues and also the study material provided is far better

Placements are quite decent for the branch like IT, Computer science, IOT, but for the core branches it is not that good because only few companies come during the final year for the core branches and in computer related branches the placement rat is 50%.

I choosed electrical as it's among the world somewhere universities gives electrcial in which other branches come in, let's complete it in few sentences then, electrical have low wages but have high opportunity means if you can open your own shop and wisely expand it in the city or country too ( worldwide is somewhere side ). Comparing other branches than electrical the first is 'cs' which is not opportunity full but the one which gets it have high wages. Other branches give high opportunity for wages not for jobs so the reason is this. Else if you are talent full then everything is good, now if talking about talent and choosing wise field then both are good but if want to take risk then electrical is much good with mechanical effort whereas cs at mind efforts( mentally ) at talent both are good.

The curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensive is good. It is designed under the course preview and accordingly to the year. The marks distribution in the various field in not very good. So improved it.
