Likes

Scholarships like mptassc and etc helps students for some affordings.
The faculty and staff of chemical department is very nice and friendly with students , and the laboratory of my department is also good so i learnt many of the things that a chemical engineer should know about
These are accessible easily the infracture greenry and sports facilty will catch anyone's eye clubs like hindisamiti and bandish are very active and keep organising great events frequenty.

Dislikes

They are also not providing hostel for 2nd and 3rd year student that's make me so much disappointed.
The placement for core branches is very poor .there are many students suffering from unemployment.
No as such annual fest are conducted and overall college life is dead in this college if different clubs even try to arrange some fest college authorities does not support at all.

MITS is pretty cool but only for few people

Likes

the sports ground are very nice in my college
if you are a sports guy then you will have alot of fun
get into a big society like IETE or ISTE and you will create alot of friends

Dislikes

pretty small college to roam around, and Gwalior city doesn't have alot of places to visit
some seniors might be very bad as the gwalior are have some bad people
too many assignments to write, too many quizes and alot of random shit that doenst need to be in a college

Placement Experience:

There is very low to none placement in my college, its very hard getting a job through campus but if you are studying well and have many projects and have learned the popular stuff that the world needs right now then you will easily get a job but not from campus, you need to apply to places from your side and try again and agian but at the end i am sure you will get a really nice job.

The journey from Dream college to real college

Likes

I liked the infrastructure. Building is so classy .
I liked the library. Many books and sitting option are also available there
College location is good. It is so easy to reach there from anywhere in the city

Dislikes

Paid parking is worst experience. They are taking money everyday .
They don't take actions on fight between seniors and juniors.
There is no indoor court for badminton. It should be there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

4/5 in my opinion.. I chose this course because it is a branch of computer science and I wanted to go in this field. The curriculum fulfills the real world aspect also. I came to know about the connectivity of today's world with the technology.

all things are not bad but neither are good too it is a average college

most of the faculy members are really good at their work
canteen food is affordable and good quality
classmates and friends are very supportive

Dislikes

some students use to misbehave as the rules are not so strict
copies are not checked fairly in examinations
the campus feels small after a point of time

Fun joyful campus and the environment here
You can play different games here like cricket and so on
Attendence is not so strict here if you are studying

Dislikes

The faculty are not so clever here some are good but they are few
Lot of local student here try to spoil the environment

MITS a Scam

Likes

They dont support their students in extra curriculum works
Campus life is almost zero in this college
Most of the faculties are good but some are not.

Dislikes

They don't support their students in extra curriculum activities
No campus life. Don't come to this college with expectation of any fest and all.
No placement at all. T&P head has no interest in making students placed

At time of admission i dont know anyting about curriculum. Curriculum is preety good and most of the faculties are also supportive. Classses timing need to be improve. Frequency and timing are pretty good and organised.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not so good at this time because companies are not coming becuase of recession. Some companies are coming and provide a chance to get placed at a low package around 3-4 lakhs/year and we know that it is not so good.

Don't loose hopes

Likes

Faculty members are very supportive, and knowledgebale with great experience.
College campus is good and well maintained.
Many events are planned by college students.

Dislikes

Placements are not too good. You have to make plans .

Placement Experience:

I will not say that placements are good here specially in core. But the teaching methods of faculty are too good, You can opt for GATE. From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placements. VOLVO came this year and took plenty of students. Highest and average packages are 10 -3 lakhs. 20-25%students got placed.

My rollercoaster journey of college

The classes that we have been provided are seminal halls & the teachers taught us on the projection board
Canteen is a thing in a college that every student like . because several times a lot of students getting an problem for food but it's a kind of facility that provide us a good food
Library that provides severals book for getting an opportunity to solve our problems or doubts.library have a lot of books that helps us and provide a wifi internet connection.

Dislikes

Washroom area are not should be properly cleaned .
There are no picnic or a college trips that were organised by our faculty
Timings are very bad 11-6 because our whole day wasted .

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester onwards students become eligible for placement and internship.accenture , Infosys,tcs ,etc are the top companies that have visited in mits.40%of the students getting placement. After getting a degree I have to apply in a gate exam .
