NIE Institute of Technology Mysore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

As per the official website, the highest package and average package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 56 LPA and INR 12 LPA, respectively. A total of 708 students were placed and 348 companies were visited during NIE Mysore placements 2023.

Students become available from the 3rd semester itself as JPMC comes to our college and placement is the only good thing about our college with average package of 12.8lpa and median 12 . 93% students got placed

Placements are fine. Not as good as IITs but due to its location near Bengaluru many companies visit here. Many of our seniors in second and third year have already received offers. Internship opportunities are also good just you have to keep yourself skillful. Zscalar, Amazon, TCS and Infosys are very often here for hiring. There is Infosys headquarter in Mysuru not too far away from our campus.

75 percent attendance is required for sitting in placements. Many companies like cisco, fidelity, jc, bosh and many more companies vists for placements and internships. Internship opportunities are provided in fourth and fifth semester

I chose this course due to its alignment with my career goals and industry relevance. The faculty-student ratio was reasonable, fostering better interaction. Faculty members held impressive qualifications, and their teaching methods were engaging, combining theory and practical applications effectively. Term exams were conducted on schedule, allowing adequate time for preparation. The difficulty level varied, challenging students to apply concepts rather than rote memorization. The evaluation process seemed fair, providing a comprehensive assessment of our understanding.

From 5th semester placement process starts. For that we need to complete our internship also. There are many companies visit every year like Mercedes Benz, cisco, adobe, Microsoft, bmw etc. There are almost 1000 students in which more than 850 offers make. Highest package is 56 lpa and average is 12.5 lpa. More than 90% students got placed. After getting degree my plan is to get placed in good tech companies.

The students can sit for placement from the 4th semester itself. If you have that academic knowledge you can sit in placements and take PPOs, many seniors have gotten PPO's in their 4th semester. The average package for CSE and ISE both is 12 lakh per annum. The Placement rate is really good 95%+.

The placement opportunities are good with great training and support by the placement co ordinates , the proper guidance to attend and communicate properly is taught and the students are been prepared for all rounds of placement offers
