Sometimes when we get language barriers they resolve it.and teachers in lab is so active they help each and every student to get clarity over things.
The college should provide scholarships on basis of student's skills because most of the students come from middle class family and it would be very helpful and motivating for them if college does so.
Placement scenerio of it department is about 80% percent on campus.lots of mass hiring companies visited our college like tcs, cognizant, accenture and lti.so they hire approx 60 students so placement is pretty good.

Dislikes

Fees structure i don't like as it is too high to pay and also very different fees structure is oresent here different from all other colleges
College campus is small and no tennis court no cricket ground no football ground
I am still a student in 1st year, so there is no placement this year, but the placement stats for branches other than cse is poor.

Good faculty , give good guidance, good learning oppertunites
Here teachers will help you and motivate you to participate in hackathons will mentor you guide you .
Need for improvement is sports , extra curricular activities.

Dislikes

Campus is not very big but it's not small little bigger than medium ,
All the classrooms don't have Air conditioning

Students are eligible for placements from 6 semester end mostly 7th semester this college prepared it's Students very properly. By conducting various interview preparation , aptitude classes . Average salary is nearly 7lpa and highest was I heard it was 25lakh not sure about the recent

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Likes

College staffs really nice and cooperative
Infrastructure is good well furnished AC classrooms and labs are available
Many clubs activities are conducted and ED cell guide us for placement aspect un future

Dislikes

Campus size is too small as compared to other colleges
After 6-7 pm you aren't allowed in college campus
Ground is too small lack of outdoor sports

Placement Experience:

7th semester student become eligible for campus placements companies mostly visited here is TCS for mass hiring Comnizent .. Acssenture and Infosys number kf offers given this year was 300+ percentage of student getting placed is 70% my plans after getting the degree is to work on some trusted company dor long term

College With Nice Infrastructure.

The college has overall best infrastructure and well maintained classrooms as well as laboratories. Greenary campus give more enthusiastic vibe in the campus.
My engagement with campus life is very nice and the social interaction is also very good with the students and teachers. This college has very good faculty members which help students in various activities such as in academics and projects as well.
Yes the college as placement cell which offers many companies in our colleges such as TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Deloitte and many more. This company come to the college and hire students and give the average package of 4-5 LPA.

Dislikes

Something i have disliked in the college is the small campus size and location issue which is situated at the end of the kolkata in garia panchpota.
This college is in west bengal so for the outside state students there is a major problem in understanding language. As major students in this college is bengali.
Our college provides less fests in our college . There is only one fests in our college which is our cultural fests that is Mesmerizer. There should be more number of fests in the campus.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Name of some companies who visits in our campus is TCS,Wipro,Infosys,Cognizant,etc. The highest and average package offered was 60 LPA in amazon and average package was 4-5 LPA. Overall 70 percentage of the students were getting placed. My plans after degree is to get a job from the college.

Placement opportunities: The college has a notable placement record of this college especially computer science and IT department most of the student placed in IT company.
Campus environment: The college maintained the deciplined environment and probhit activities like smoking and alcohol consumption in campus.
Faculty: Some faculties are very helpful and highlighted knowledgeable faculty and also in laboratories.

Dislikes

Placement in core department: Placement in core department is very less most of the department take placement in IT department not in core department because of the college not provided the core companies for placement.
Location: location are ruler area and villagers are very rude here some people are forcefully not allowing the college hostel to open.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is required more improvement like some classes, laboratories and classroom and here very short ground.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for campus placement: (i) Students become eligible for 7th semester. (ii) Placement training starts in 6th semester. Company visiting and offers made: IT &Tech : TCS,WIPRO, INFOSYS and many more. Consulting and finance: Deloitte, EY etc. Product based: Amazon , Nutanix, SAP etc. Number of offers varies each year. Placement pakages: (i) Highest package: 60 lpa offered by top company. (ii) Average package: 5.3 lpa Placement percentage: Range between 60 to 70% depending on the branch and job market. My plan after getting the degree: Take up jobs in campus placement.

I liked the placement scenes. Placement is okay but good in comparison of other private colleges.
There will hackathon and fests(cultural,technical)in the college

College campus is small.Makaut university has some issues so there is also some problem

Placement Experience:

Our college provides oncampus placements. From 7th semester you will be eligible for sitting in the placements. A lot of companies visit our college like TCS, COGNIZANT, IBM, ACCENTURE, WIPRO and startups etc. The percentage of placements of students will be around 60-70%.Highest package offered is 32lpa and average package is 5lpa.i will be sitting for the placements and look for jobs.

Honest Review about Netaji Subhash Engineering College(NSEC)

Likes

Various Clubs like tech club, cultural club, NCC, sports, etc.
Nearby cafes create a perfect space for relaxation and socializing.
Metro service is available in college area.

Dislikes

Our college doess not have a dedicated campus.
There is no college hostel and the hassle of finding nearby PG and flats.

Placement Experience:

Student become eligible for campus placement from 7th sem. Various companies start visiting the campus for recruitment drives during this period. Some of the top recruiters that regularly visit our campus are- TCS, IBM, EY, Deloitte, Cognizant, ITC infotech, Grant Thronton, Nutanix, SAP, Sasken Technologies, ZA associates, Alumus software. Intel has visited the campus for the last two years but hasn't made any offers. Hightest pacakage: Rs 25 LPA Average Pacakage: Rs 5 LPA Placement Percentage- 80% of student get placed each year. I received an offer from TCS for the role of system engineer in 2024 and am currently waiting for my joining letter.

The campus is small but nice, it has places to just sit and chill with your friends
The cafeteria and it's good is nice and reasonable, our college has 3 cafeterias
Some of the teachers are very helpful and considerate towards students

Dislikes

The campus is very small and the college itself is in a very village area
Faculty is mid, most of the teachers don't know what they are teaching
The fest is avg, college takes way too much money but doesn't spend money on fests

Placements are normal, doesn't give very good placements but tcs and wipro visits and recruits lots of people. In 2024 tcs alone recruited 250 students from our college and other companies comes as well, mostly mass recruiters

College faculties are very helpful for the students because from outside west bengal students are like 30-40% so the faculties are very much helpful us to understand the concept and have proper communication.
Practice teacher and theory teacher both are good on this College .
Attendance is mandatory among all the students it is mandatory 75% attendance but minimum you need to had atleast 60% attendance.

Dislikes

The girls boys ratio is not good in our section of cse girls and boys ratio in our class is 80:20
Washroom is not have enough space to enter large number to students at a time
Sports like cricket don't have a proper ground to play and also college don't had there own hostel.

Likes

Girls to boy ratio is avg. But for some courses like biomedical , csbs etc the ratio is good
The college environment is great supportive college staff
Placement is the best thing about the college.

Dislikes

Small campus and very basic infrastructure
The availability of transport is there but the area is some how remote
The facilities in college is basic and old.

Placement Experience:

There is a great placement in our college. If u have almost 8 cgpa then u are eligible for every company that visits our campus . The avg. Package is 6.5lpa and highest for 2025 that is 64lpa. Almost 80% got placed

some of the staff in college is very supportive.
affordabiltiy of fees of college for students.
placements are good as compare to other west bengal private colleges.

Dislikes

some of the faculties are very unsupportive.
teachers are very strict towards attendence .
internship opportunities are not provided by college.

overall placements are good in college , this college is even able to provide campus placements in recession when more than half colleges are not able to get single company for recruitment also companies provide decent packages.
