Sometimes when we get language barriers they resolve it.and teachers in lab is so active they help each and every student to get clarity over things.
The college should provide scholarships on basis of student's skills because most of the students come from middle class family and it would be very helpful and motivating for them if college does so.
Placement scenerio of it department is about 80% percent on campus.lots of mass hiring companies visited our college like tcs, cognizant, accenture and lti.so they hire approx 60 students so placement is pretty good.

Dislikes

Fees structure i don't like as it is too high to pay and also very different fees structure is oresent here different from all other colleges
College campus is small and no tennis court no cricket ground no football ground
I am still a student in 1st year, so there is no placement this year, but the placement stats for branches other than cse is poor.

Insight & Impact : An honest review of NSEC

Likes

coding culture is very good , sports are good, infrastructure is also nice
teachers are highly educated, students are very socially responsible.
the curriculum not only helps in placement but also it give high value to my life

Dislikes

location of the college should be improved
No. of faculties should be increased, there should be more sports ground and medical facility
Library facility should be improved and research facility should be there

Course Curriculum Overview:

Now a days information technology is one of the leading subjects that required in any industry. The curriculam makes me industry ready. There is no requirement of improvement in curriculam . It is totally perfect. The frequency of exam is two and timing is at the end of semester

Likes

The faculty of IT department are very frank and always ready to help you whenever you need it.
Notes are provided which helps in end semester examination
Achievements are celebrated and students are always encouraged to participate in various workshops

Dislikes

The campus is very small and the food of canteen is also average
Few classrooms donot have AC which makes it suffocating during summers
Syllabus is not completed fully due to insufficient time provided by the university.

Placement Experience:

The 4th year,in the 7th and 8th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies such as TCS, cognizant, Deloitte and many more come to college for placements. If not in campus, students can also apply for off campus jobs as well. My plan after getting the degree is to do higher studies

My faculty are too good and explaining all the topic after the class.
My lab equipment are too good and teacher help us for using them.
Sports and events are very good in my college.

Dislikes

Lab equipment are too old and not working properly.
College ground is too small and outdoor facility is not good.
Management is not responsible about the students after the college.

Placement Experience:

The student are eligible for the placement from 7th semester. TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Amazon and sometime student are also placed in Google . There are maximum number of offer's from TCS, Accenture, and Wipro

May Look mediocre but its quite nice

I appreciate the fact that our college campus is small yet it has somehow managed to incluude almost every single thing that must be there in a college with less space. We have all thpes of labs and tremendous labs and equipments and all basic needs.
Our college has less space so it organises big events like Mesmerizer outside our college in some other place and makes it as grand as possible and I love that fact about our college.
In our college there are a lot of clubs you will feel like there is no club work but in reality it happens and we dont get to know as sports events get organised, tech events, game events, seminars, fun events,etc.

Dislikes

I dislike the fact that there is no particular place inside the college where we can literally sit and chill.
The college faculty and teaching staff is little not upto the mark as they should have been in reality.
It would have been better if the support from our professors would have been better in terms of guidance and support.

After 6th semester, the students become elligible for campus placements and my company comes under that time for students. There are many conpanies like TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Google, Amazon, Delloite, etc The highest package offered in recent years was 30 lakhs per annum. Almost more than 70% get placements.

Likes

The professors are highly educated and very helpful.
The college fees is relatively lesser than other private colleges.
The boys:girls ratio is quite good, respect to other engineering colleges.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small. It covers only 4 acres of land.
Departments like civil,mechanical and electrical are not good in Nsec. They don't have the proper faculty and infrastructure for these departments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is average. Each semester lasts for 6 months. After every 4 months Cas are conducted and in the 6th month the end semester exam is conducted. The exam difficulty is not very difficult. Anyone can score above 8 gpa. People should try to score 9+ in practical exams because they are easy to score and also increases the cgpa.

I liked college semester exams . Since question paper is tough but still if you study properly it will be easy. It is makaut affiliated college.
College placements are not bad enough if you put input.
Friends out there are also good and helping nature of you make good friends.

Dislikes

Bengali language priority makes me to dislike. People out there think Bengali influence on this college
Teachers and not that good and they don't care about students curriculum or exams.
Food out there is nearly Bengali. So that your type of taste you might not get here

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough . TCS ,wipro , infosis company's comes here on campus to take students . median salary package for B.Tech and M.Tech programs was around Rs. 6.37 LPA. The number of students placed was 495 for the UG and 9 for the PG programs.

Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

Likes

The friends are the sole reason we keep going to college, and after passing out, we miss them
Sports area, always something I went to college for, as it freshened our minds
Few of the staff are always kind, and the way they communicate, and the insider things we get to know from them about college, is fun

Dislikes

Own faculty teachers are never good. This might be just for CSE department
The higher authorities are a lot worried about the image college leaves on the public
The location. The college is very close to the railway stations, but still is on a pretty far side, because of which, no companies come to college. We go to other colleges for placements

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario at our college is more or less ok-ok. With the companies looking for more experience, and service based hiring reducing, many students remain unplaced, and the numbers has kept on increasing since 2023. TCS, CTS reduced their number of hirings but still are the mass hirers here. Not many big companies come during campus hirings. All company look for individuals with some good experience in the past like in some internships, but college doesnt allow it, unless you are moonlighting. For the 2025 passouts, still around half of the students are unplaced. I am lucky enough to be placed by my 7th sem, leaving me ample amount of time to enjoy my final days of college, and be a little relaxed, as being unplaced in the 8th sem with majority companies already come and go, it becomes stressful and anxiety also drives in with parental pressure.

The fest in college is good the infrastructure is good with ample of space in the campus
There are lots of cultural and technical societies one can engage into . and in the societies like aagaaz ashwamedh the overall senior junior interactions are greatv and you form bonds for life .
Some of the faculties have good knowledge of their subjects and they are rankers in their fields.

Dislikes

the teachers often donotb show much interest in teaching classes and the college staff is not upto standards for lab classes and mostly taken by jrf's.
the college schedule is very hectic and time table of classes is not properly organized with long gaps and classes both early and late in day.
The conditions of lab classes is very poor with most of the labs inoperable most of the times and overcrowded.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the course currculum followed is not up to date with market scenario and is out dated .there should be more courses with real world applications and more technical courses should be introduced .The exams happens every month with end semester at the end with gap of a day or two between 2 exams.

One thing that I light about this college is the crowd is very good in this college and the culture is very good in this college
The faculties also very helpful in terms of Academics
The college also provides library central library and reading room and sports area which is kind of decentish. The girls to boys resume this colleges also very good

Dislikes

The campus of this college is very small and you will I think you will be satisfied with this campus
The college does not provide any mis facilities and hostel around the college campus
The infrastructure is also every in the placement is also average in this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Talking about the curriculum there will be 8 semesters and each semester there will be four tennis assessment and two practical assessments and one semester exams.The questions in the exam are easy to difficult and it is very easy to pass exam with only one month of preparation the frequency and timings of the exam are also nice .Talking about the areas of improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods is they can improve more on the practicals aspect of the industrial knowledge.

My collage review.

Likes

The faculty was very good and they were very helpful in every matter.
The college infrastructure and atmosphere was very good.
The labs were futuristic and help students to gather more practical knowledge.

Dislikes

The college doesn't provide a good quality canteen in for students.
The toilets were not that much clean and unhygienic.
The college ground was very small and full up stones

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate my cousin rickulam 5 out of 5 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness . There are many curriculum activities and educational activities and also educational tours in my course curriculum.
