Good quality of teachers:- mostly professors are excellent in their respective fields and have great subject knowledge.
It was amazing and great to be witnessed and roam around and live the college life as beautifully as shown in movies and all.
I know this is a very big amount but it is good for your future this college makes efforts to make you good for top mncs the scholarship is good they provide scholarships and even i got my scholarship

Dislikes

Some of the rules are so bad in this college like for hostel related
The fee structure of my college is very high which may be unappropriate for people this college is prohibited for poor the scholarship is hard to get.
You can not stay in hostel during college hours this most bad thing here

Likes

campus infrastructure is well maintained campus with modern classroom well equipped ,laboratories, libraries etc.
Many student appreciate the knowledge , expertise and support provided by the facuity member at psit .
placement opportunities has a dedicates placement cell that works toward securing employment opportunities for the student.

Dislikes

limited research opportunities may feel that psit could offer more research oriented program ,collaboration with industries.
depending on individual circumstances, student commuting to the campus might find transport option or connectivity to be less convenient.

Student typically become eligible for the campus placement form the 3rd semester of the course. serveral renowned compaines have visited PSIT Kanpur for campus placement. some of the notable recruiters include TCS, infosys ,wipro, capgemini, ibm, hcl, tech mahindra, and many more.

Above average college with one of the best infrastructure.

Likes

Infrastructure was the best part of the college.
The multiple canteens in college is good thing.
The diversity among students and teachers as well.

Dislikes

Strictness of the college is a little overkill .
Most of the times it feels like a school I am going to.
For maintenance of discipline the fine implementation is a little more.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, you're eligible for placement or internships. And the placement percentage has been above 90% for 3 consecutive years of college. And the number of job offers is more than 100%. My plan was to get a proper plan to get placement.

I liked the teaching method, infrastructure, Lab facilities is excellent, other events organising,& the most important placement.

Placement Experience:

If you are talented in your field then you can take placement in the 1st semister but acedmic should not be disturbed. Many companies visited such as Infosys, Google, Wipro, Ericsson, and To the New, . You can check on the official website.

Life in PSIT

Likes

The campus of the college the canteen and all types of facilities.
vending machines are also provide in different blocks

Dislikes

There is fine in every little thing. Faculty used to check notes made by student

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. I was interested in doing engineering and I want to become a hacker. 2. Best faculty interact with each and every student and there is always an extra class for doubt lectures. The student ratio is about 30 girls and 70 boys. 3. Faculty are well qualified and hold high educational degrees from different colleges. 4.1st semester took approx 6 months and even semester took less than 4 months. The exam is not that difficult.

It's infrastructure,lab facilities and disciplined structure.
Also it's annual fest is amazing too many events were their.
Placement is very very good according to other aktu private colleges

Dislikes

It's attendance criteria which is 90% and makes college life hectic.
Due to high attendance criteria it's really hard to explore new things.
We get less time in college to do any new things except our studies .

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good at psit in the last year 2022, 8 students from the 2023 batch got selected from Atlassian at the highest package of 38 lakhs. More than 200 companies came in campus placement with an average package of 4.5 lpa. From the 6th semester, companies are coming for placement.

College Review

Likes

The infrastructure is pretty good. There is cleanliness all around. Everything is maintained properly. The hostels, the grounds, the classrooms, everything is built good and maintained properly.
The mess food is pretty decent. The meals are planned for a month and the menu is followed.
Trainings are provided for getting high package placements in product based companies.

Dislikes

90% attendence criteria is strictly followed. Otherwise fine is imposed. You cannot bunk classes as guards are everywhere. When the classes are going on, dead silence prevails in the whole campus. Doesn't matter if you are in first or fourth year.
The hostel rules are wierd and torturing. You cannot stay in the hostel if it is working day in college. You need to leave the hostel even when you're sick. No sick leaves are granted. Outings are provided only on weekends and no later than 6pm.
The library timings are wierd. It is 9 to 7:30 on weekdays. And we come back from classes at 5, therefore only 2 hours are left for library. Also, no holidays are provided regardless of any government holiday except diwali/holi.

The students become eligible for placements after the sixth semester completes. The major companies visiting are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Walmart, Capgemini, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Commvault, etc. Companies like Infosys and TCS make offers in large numbers while others take less number of students.

Students are eligible from the 6th semester. No. of the companies are like around many I don't know exactly the number but many offers were made. Name- Infosys, HCL, Atlassian, and many more. 100% placement of students.

The staff is good , they listen to our problems and try to resolve it.
Faculties provide additional notes and case studies to work on our skills.
There are various events where we can take part and improve our skills

From 3rd semester students are eligible for placement drives. Various companies came to campus like HCL, TATA POWER, NESTLE, ANZ Bank, etc. The highest package in MBA is 10 LPA and the average is 4 LPA. As of this year currently, 80% of students are placed in MBA, 4th semester is ongoing. By the way, PSIT has had 100% placement records in the past.

About PSIT

Likes

First i like it's infrastructure because they make a good college and beautiful and strong college. All types of labs , workshops and open gym also available.
Faculties that studying the students . They all are fully experienced and also done higher studies from higher colleges . They know how to learn students something new and how to communicate with each students present in class.
Placement percentage i like it because 90 percent off students get placed before 4 year last exam and they also got some internships during semesters

Dislikes

College is more strict. They tell us always talk in English if anyone was from village than he adjust himself.

Placement Experience:

From 3 years or 6 semesters, students are eligible for placements but it's necessary to complete your study. Approx. 100 + companies come in PSIT and 90 percent of students got placed before last semester. Last year's highest package is 40 lakh. All types of students get placement but according to your percentage some get higher packages and some get lower packages. My plan is after my degree I want to do my placement job and also works on new projects for higher jobs after some year I want to start a business but I continuing my job.

A brief look of In and out PSIT

Likes

Talking about my likes i first want to say that the training provided from very beginning of course to get students placement ready is very good.
The infrastructure of college is so good. The campus is very beautiful
Hostel facility is too good even you have not to wash your clothes in every 10 day you habe to go to laundry with your clothes which is in campus and the fee for the same is included in the hostel fee itself.

Dislikes

Talking about dislikes the rules and regulation are too much hard in some area means if you are playing with your phone during class there will be a minimum fine of 2000.
Students are not get time to enjoy their college life as you will be burdened with too much work and a heavy 5 day college time from 9-5 per day so you will not be left with your time.
Even the rules are also too much hard for hostellers you will get only 3 outings per week for going outside but after all everything requires some sacrifice so for you best future you have to suffer all this but genuinely this is too much i think.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after the 6th semester some good companies like Infosys, and Wipro visits the campus also many other companies are also interested in the college as it has a good reputation in North India. Overall 90% of students get placed after the completion of the course the average package offered is 5lpa and the highest package to date is 45lpa. After the completion of the placement, I wanted to get a good job and be financially independent.
