Likes

Mentorship is good here and professor is well experienced here some are new , the interaction with teacher is good .
There is a merit cum scholarship provided to students having a family income of less than 5 lakhs per year and who maintain greater than or equal to 6.5 cpi or above in 1st semester.
The most important thing i like of my college is its beauty.

Dislikes

Hostel life is good but outside college campus there is as such no happening life and inside hostel there is gym , commercial complex , football ground , basketball ground , and mess food quality is average not that good
I also don't like the faculty it is not very trained
No single room is in hostel for each year and college is in outskirts

RGIPT Overview

Likes

Campus life was very good and students are feeling good and having freedom to explore
Placement was good my senior were placed in reputed companies
Faculty are good and supportive and helps in every difficulty

Dislikes

Campus area was little bit small campus area was about 60acres
Remote area Little bit looking like village area around the college
After covid and recession placement was little bit slow

Placement Experience:

In my college placement scenario was good.So many companies like HMEL,BPCL,IOCL,GAIL, Torrent gas,Shell, OIL ,HLS Asia CPCL.TCS,etc visited in last 2 months for campus placement.In third year 6 semester students are eligible for PPO.

Quality of the college, some of the professors are very kind and knoweldgable and always there to help you train root is the best way to travel jais railway station is in walking distance from rgipt campus.
Some of the prof. are very koind and always there to help you and guide you.
hard situation makes you better no matter what other says.

Dislikes

funding given to college are not used properly and transparenty
Campus is very small for this much students
very poor connnetivity for travel and located at the outer

Insights of RGIPT

Likes

Hostel facilities like bathrooms and washing machine
I also liked the Campus which is Small but beutiful
Mess food serving delicious food and managed by a comity of students

Dislikes

i don't like the peer group here they are not very supportive here
I don't liked the management here which is very strict towards providing holidays
I also don't like the faculty it is not very trained

Placement Experience:

The placement scenarios for Chemical and petroleum are very good but we don't have the record of cse, and IT branches since the first batch of these branches is in the final year. but, if we look at the T&P cell of the college it is not doing good in terms of efforts

Likes

Hostels ,mess food,fests are all best here

Dislikes

U may irritate here as some buildings construction is still going on.

Placement Experience:

From semester 6,7 u will be able yo get placements here , recently one of the senior from cse brach hot placement in caterpillar, For tech branches there is ample of companies only ... U may definitely try for off campus ... As facilities are awesome here .

Why to consider RGIPT

Likes

Low students and talented jee advaned qualified
Rich in greenery and clean atmosphere around
Hostels and college is maintained in good condition

Dislikes

Very low area alloted to the college area
Coding culture needs to be developed more
More space for sports facilities and trainers

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course has a good scope in the computer science domain. There is very low intake of the students on the basis of the jee advanced and mains criteria . Teachers are highly qualified and professional.

Good infrastructure that are advanced and good
Mess food is good as compared to other colleges
Many holidays are their and college is 5 days week

Dislikes

Area of college is very less and conjusted
Big grounds for sports not available only small present
Placement and internship for computer student not available

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this course give admission to advanced qualified students and was only available option for me for computers in Central government college. Ratio is 1:60 Most of them are phd from iit 2 exams in a semester 1 in approx 2 months

College life at RGIPT

Likes

What I love the most are the hostel rooms mess food and the washing machine. Electric cattles are allowed in the hostel rooms for hot water.

Dislikes

I didn't like the size of campus back to the number of students admitted in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was always interested in cyber security, AI, machine learning as my dream was to become a software engineer and I got information technology branch here. Faculties are well qualified here like most of them have done their PhD is from prestigious institutions in India or in foreign.

A very decent college

Likes

I like the faculties here. They are very supportive and very well educated.
Infrastructure is quite good. The buildings are new.
Courses are very well designed. They also provide useful courses like AutoCAD, MAYA, etc

Dislikes

Fees in the college is very high. It should be low.
Location of the college is not so good. There is no campus life outside the college.
Campus is very small according to the number of students.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are decent in college. Placement of chemical and petroleum branch is so good that last year all the students get placed from these branches with highest pakage of 24 lakh and average package of 10 lakh per annum.

Student's life at RGIPT

Likes

I liked the mess food, hostel and the classrooms.

Dislikes

Size of campus is not that big as compared to other number of students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Information Technology branch as I was always interested in Cyber security. The faculty ratio is less as compared to other colleges . The faculties of the institute are well qualified like some of them have done their PhDs from foreign institutes.

RGIPT - An institution of National Impotance

Likes

Hostels- very good and well clean hostels
Mess food - Better than many of colleges

Dislikes

So much of strictness for gate paas , and after 8pm you can't go outside
Campus size- only in 47 acres . No playground for cricket

Placement Experience:

WELL .... Till 2019 this was a petroleum and chemical branch college only. But from 2020 other branches also got introduced. Cse first betch is going to paas out in 2024 itself. So placement season has started..no such placement has happened as of now in cse Brancu.. chemical branch students get very good placement here. Most of the psu come here and select good number of students also , on a vey good salary
