RGIPT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The overall placement of the college is good. Various PSUs, MNCs, and IT companies visit the campus every year. If you are from petroleum and chemical engineering, many government companies like ONGC, IOCL, HPCL offers the package of 16-20 lakhs to candidates. Many IT companies like Wipro, Infosys also came for recruitment. For the recent batch, the highest package offered is 21 lakh and the average package is around 9 lakhs. Up to 70 to 80% of students of the recent batch are successfully placed.

The Infrastructure,The Course and the environment, These are the factors made me chose this Institute. More importantly I want to persue engineering as my career.So I choose this Institute

There is nothing much special. Just I am interested in Chemical engineering and the Institute is providing the course.So I cleared the entrance exam and took admission in that course. The college educational environment is good.

The good part of this college is the, it is the central government college of petroleum. The bad part of this college is that less number of students so that friend circle is not too big.

Reputed institution in the field of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering in India. This college has excellent placement record and has managed to get its students placed in international companies as well like Shell, Halliburton, IHS Kingdom.

This college is one of a type. You may find such colleges but since it is under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, its educational value increases in India as well as abroad. This is all you require for a good start to your career

It is definitely an IIT and you can say that you're and IITian as well. This course is taken up by very less people around the country although it is the highest paid course in engineering. Many big companies give placement offers also.

Since it is a Government college and is highly reputed in petroleum engineering, I choose this college. My friend's brother is a pass-out of this college and he told me that the placements re also very nice here.

It is very highly reputed for petroleum engineering branch as only two government colleges offer this course, RGIPT and ISM Dhanbad, and infact RGIPT has better placement records and infrastructure is also good.

Petroleum branch is very hefty paying branch. Infact it the highest paying branch of world in the engineering sector. Further I was told about this college and it ir very much academics oriented, therefore I choose this college.
