A separate hostel has been given to you by the college side in which the rent is 8000 rs per month including food don't worry hostel are well.
You can get many types of scholarships, college will definitely help you to get scholarships, teachers are helpful in this.
The placement percentage is quite good around 95%.companies like amazon, tcs, wipro, mahindar, infosys and more comes here every year for recruitment.

Dislikes

Scholarships are easily available for the west bengal domicile students but there will be some chaos for others.
I went to techno admission centre in chingrighata but was in vain and then i contacted the sir who was in charge of admission process, he told me to just go to their college and i just got admission.
I hate the thing is that our college doesn't have it's own hostel and a very small ground in college campus

My college experience in Techno International Newtown (TINT)

Likes

I liked the college campus very much. It is very beautiful and well maintained.
The infrastructure of our college is very good and well maintained.
The college faculty is very friendly towards us.

Dislikes

I don't hate is but our electrical department is a little bit strict. Although it's not a bad thing.
I hate that two colleges are in the same campus.
I wished that our college ground was a little bit more wide.

Placement Experience:

Mostly from the 7th semester, the students are eligible for campus placemets. In our college almost 60% to 70% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies likeTCS, Capfemini, Cognizant, Infosys, L&T, Acenture, etc visit our campus every year. The average salary package offered is around 3 LPA to 4 LPA and the highest salary package offered is around 12 LPA to 14 LPA.

Likes

Teachers are very cooperative. Staffs are very nice.
Most of the people are very humble. Classes have nice facilities.

Dislikes

Attendance criteria of 75 percent. It must be improved.
Campus is very small. Campus is shared by both SNU and our college.

Placement Experience:

Our college placement is average. When IITians remains unemployed then don't have so much hopes in your mind regarding placement or job. One thing is clear that if you will work hard enough then you will be successful.

Techno International Newtown boasts state of the art facilities, including advance Labotories and well-equipped classroom, providing a conducive learning environment..
The college has a term of highly qualified and experienced professors who are dedicated to ensuring that students receive a quality education and proper guidance.
There are numerous clubs and societies that the cates to a wide range of instructions, allowing students to develop their skill and enjoy a well rounded college experience.

Dislikes

The academic workload can be intense at times, leaving students with little time for relaxation or pursuing personal interests outside their studies.
Despite having modern infrastructure, the campus can feel cramped, particularly during peak hours, which can be difficult to find quiet study areas.
There are occasional Delays in administrative process, such as issuing certificates of resolving student concerns, which can be frustrating for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm study in Computer Science Depertment. The cource is very good in this current sctution. The industry need more and more Computer Science Engineers. In oure Cours we are study abouut Computer organizaion, data structure, opereting system.

The environment in the college is very good
Their is no ragging in the college all the students have friendly behavior
The labs in the college are very good and well maintained

Dislikes

The faculty members are not that well the college need to improve it
The campus is too small and their is no playground in the college

After the 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements and their are so many companies visited in our college TCS, Cognizant, Amazon, Infosys and many more the average package in our college is around 4LPA and highest package is around 43LPA. Around 90 percent of the students get job through campus placements

College environment is soo good they have kinda big ground ,faculties are also good and they do there best to help every student .

Dislikes

the thing i dislike about the collage is don't have ac in all there classrooms and some of there class they take in snu collage also and the auditorim of this collage is also not so big.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportuneties they have the rating about3.4 stars and also offers 3.5LPA avarage salary. students are eligible from the 6th semester and Capgmini,Cognizant,Wipro etc companies comes in our collage.the higer package is 50kto70k per month and avarage packege is 23k to 25k per month

Campus is good as compared to other colleges in Kolkata
Descent placements and hard working placement cell
Good and helpful teachers who helps you a lot

Dislikes

No internship opportunity In the College
No coding culture in college ,you will have to do everything in coding by yourself
Some professors are not that much qualified

Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Accenture come in campus for placement, placement is descent In college, students are eligible for placement since 7th semester. the average package is around 3.5L to 4L .

I loved the campus it is full of greenery and faculties are Phd holders and are good in their respective fields
Labs are well equiped with instruments and knowledgeable.
I believe this course will surely add to my career.

Dislikes

As such the college is fine but the canteen food could have been better
Water filters could have been better but its fine on an average

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from the sixth semester and. Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro etc companies comes in our college. Higher packages range from 50000 to 70000 per month and average package includes 23000 to 25000. 75 to 80 percentage gets placements every year. My plans after getting this degree is to gets placed in a mnc company or some core comapinies.

Mentors and teachers are very helpful and friendly.
Their way of teaching is good and understandable.
The environment is pretty decent and likable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As CSE is a great demanding course now a days and MAKAUT is a reowned board, our college follows the complete curriculum as mentioned by the university. The semester are conducted every 6 months and in betweens the mid terms.

A honest review being in this college!!

Likes

The first time when I visited the campus I was amazed by its infrastructure it has a good size playground along with a full size basketball court. Faculties are well in their respective subjects and are very student friendly.
Classrooms and toilets are regularly cleaned.
Basic amenities like drinking water machines are being installed which gives chilled water throughout the day.

Dislikes

As such there is no such big issues but since few months the lift is not working that's all.
Could have provided AC in most of the classrooms.
Overall it's fine I believe with time it will get better and in future might be one of the finest college.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester onwards traning are being started for the placement. The placement cell of Techno International New town is very active and is effective in providing placement to hundreds of students every year with a placement record of 90 percentage. From the 7th and 8th semester students start getting to sit in the placement rounds and get a chance to hold a significant Position in the leading companies like Accenture, Capgemini, cognizant and many more
