The campus is that huge the annual fest is teknieks its good as special as you and see in iits and nits the classrooms are pretty old sports are encouraged you have a good opportunity as a sports student
Good scholarship opportunity i am from snq quota which stands for a small numerical quota as i only pay 35000 every year there are a lot of scholarship opportunities and many scholarships up to 50,000 are received by my friends.
The faculties are very much supportive and kind also their teaching is also good.

Dislikes

The teachers are good and helping but the learning experience is average as the basic concepts are over dealt and the practical approach is very less and insignificant which makes it irritating and boring.
Hostel facilities are not that good as some toilets are broken, wifi is bad, tec.
Here faculties are very strict they cause a lot of chaos for attendance and deduct marks if you lose attendance lab exams are all conducted very strictly thus increasing the education quality for students.

Likes

The placement are good and the work culture is nice.

Dislikes

The distance between hostel and college and time waste of travelling every day, you can't go to your room and do something if your class is free
There are some very useless subjects like kannada and IDT

Placement Experience:

Placements are very nice 12.5 lakhs average was of is and cs branches. And it was 9 lakhs in total of all branches. If you do hardwork and self development everyday. There are too much opportunities for you.

Likes

Clubs and events which are conducted almost every week.
Various fest with full enjoyment and happiness
Good faculty members they always helps students to study.

Dislikes

Online classes which are conducted after college timings for other courses
Timings of college its from morning 9 to evening 4:30
We can only get less free classes per weeek.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students are eligible for placements.There are many good and top companies which visited the campus. The highest package was 54lakh and the average package is 11lakh.92 percent placement.

Campus life at Nie

Likes

academically its great and you can expect good placement at the end.
overall interactive sessions with the faculties so also a great experience
faculty members are also really helpful and listen to you guys.

Dislikes

not really active clubs just some here and there.
language barriers for north indians as people tend to speak in their native
less campus area so not much of a place to spend time socialising

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is great , i am learning a lot of new things here, the faculty members are also great and very helpful. we get a lot of interactive classes where we communicate with our fellowmates.

My time in college till now..

Likes

The college location is very nice and the city mysore is so lovely the weather here is so nice.
The college has all the infrastructure and technologies that we required.
The placement cells are also best. They give their best to give you the best opportunity.

Dislikes

The language barrier. There is a slight racism here also on the basis of language.
The hostel food is not so good. Most of the time they don't maintain basic hygiene.
The faculty is average. They are not that qualified. But some of them are really good.

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester students are eligible for placement via college. Many companies come here for placement top of them are Cisco,Delliot, Mercedes, JP Morgan. The highest package offered was 53 lakh and average package is 950000. The top profile offered are web development, Android development, software development. After graduation my plan is simple I am going to take placement via college.

The best thing about the college is the faculty.They are very supportive and are always willing to help.
The sports infrastructure is very well maintained.
The teams are very competitive and various sports events are organized throughout the year.

Dislikes

The mess food is a big concern,especially for the people from the north.
The condition of the washrooms at times can be very disturbing for a few people
The location of the North campus.It is very isolated from the main city.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are fine,not great. The placements start from 5th semester. Internships are also offered. The highest package migh go in the range of 40 lpa and average package might lie somewhere in the range of 8 to 12 lpa

Everything you need to know about NIE MYSORE

Likes

The college is nice overall, according to the return of investment
The weather here is also nice. It's warm and comfortable
The faculties here are helpful and supportive

Dislikes

The college is pretty strict about the attendance
The campus life is average according to the fests and all
They have two campuses North and South which are 16 km apart and its very tough getting from South hostel to the north campus everyday

Placement Experience:

The college provides excellent placement and internship opportunities. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, Wipro etc visit the college and provide excellent packages to the students. The placement percentage is also nice here. The highest package was 54 lacs as per this year

Great placement as compared to other colleges.
Good and Supportive faculties and seniors.

Dislikes

I don't like the location of college north campus is in the out skirts of Mysuru

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for internships from the first year itself and placements start from 7th semester. Overall placement scenario is very good here. A huge number of students are being placed every year. The average CTC of the college is also good.

Teachers of this is very helpful. They help anytime.
Students are very good they are helping each other.
Placement is very positive side of this college.

If you North indian you face sometimes language problem.
Size of campus is short only 25acres campus.
Fest not organization many more only 1 to 2.

Placement Experience:

According to senior 6-7th semester student is eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit in college like Visa, Microsoft, Samsung, Mercedes, etc. 1000+ offers available for placement. 12+ average package given by many companies. 100% of students placed in cse, isle branch.

Campus size, study environment, good infrastructure.

Nie- a freshers perspective.

Likes

The on campus infrastructure is exquisite and limitless.
Badminton courts are indoor with 4 courts parallel to each other.
Football field though not a turf it is mid.

Dislikes

The weather in mysore is too hot and humid.
Core branches are not good placement wise.
The food is not good and palpabale tasty.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students are allowed to sit for pre placement offers. Students are more likely to get placed for 5th semester. 90 percent plus students get placed jn tech branches and 80 percent plus in core branches.
