The campus is that huge the annual fest is teknieks its good as special as you and see in iits and nits the classrooms are pretty old sports are encouraged you have a good opportunity as a sports student
Good scholarship opportunity i am from snq quota which stands for a small numerical quota as i only pay 35000 every year there are a lot of scholarship opportunities and many scholarships up to 50,000 are received by my friends.
The faculties are very much supportive and kind also their teaching is also good.

Dislikes

The teachers are good and helping but the learning experience is average as the basic concepts are over dealt and the practical approach is very less and insignificant which makes it irritating and boring.
Hostel facilities are not that good as some toilets are broken, wifi is bad, tec.
Here faculties are very strict they cause a lot of chaos for attendance and deduct marks if you lose attendance lab exams are all conducted very strictly thus increasing the education quality for students.

The college is very big and the campus id very cool. The placements are also good here.
The campus is great contains lots of separate block which has different works and the social interaction is also very high due to its events and fests.
There are many sports block and ground like cricket, football, basketball etc. Also for learning means there are a separate building for all labs and also a separate building for library.

Dislikes

some faculties are not very good in teaching and are not audible clearly. Some of them are not good in paper checking and cut marks for no means.
The second campus where we study actually is far from the city and you need to travel like 15km to reach city for fun. The area is very remote.
The hostel in the second campus are don't have much capacities so many students need to stay in main campus and have to travel through bus daily for 70 minutes although the bus is been provided by college.

Placement Experience:

Usuallybthe campus placements starts from 4th year and but usually people get eligible for placemnet in 3rd year itself. Big companies which usually visit our college our Cisco, Accenture, Oracle, JP morgan, IBM, mercedes etc. The highest package of our college last yaer was around 54LPA and the average package is 8.5-9LPA and maximum companies comes to recruite as junior developer or software engineer. Last year almost 90% students were eligble and almost all got placed or joined higher studies. What I have decided is to complete the course and sidewise learning skill and getting placed in either from college or from off campus.

Dislikes

The thing i disliked is that the campus is bit small when compared with others and the mess food is a bit average.

Placement Experience:

After your 5th semester you are eligible to be seated in placements and the placement scenario of NIE is quite good there were around 100 companies and 700-800 offers that were made and the highest package was 63 lakh at twillio and the average lies between 8-9 lpq

NIE COLLEGE

College Environment is very good and high placement rate .
College faculty are knowledgeable and teaches very well.
college also support student to participate in various activities like sports, cultural activities etc.

Dislikes

college campus size is small and Infrastructure is not so good.
There are two campus Nie north and south. from last year cs department classes are held in north but all the event are held in south so for north campus student it is difficult to join the event.
college canteen is not good in both the campus.

Placement Experience:

NIE college is well- known because of high placement rate. The average package is 9 LPA. The highest package is 54 lakh . 90 % of students get placed last year. From 5 sem the placement starts . More than 100 campanies visit every year in that big companies like Microsoft ,IBM, Amazon,Cisco are also visit.

Likes

Faculty. The faculty is actually serious about improvement of the students and answers every doubt of students.
Events. There are many clubs which conduct events, fests and competitons.
Landscape. The air quality is too good and very clean.

Dislikes

Food. I came from north so its difficult for me to adjust to the south food
Language. Many people here speak kannada which im unable to understand.
Attendance criteria. In other colleges, the minimum attendance criteria is 75% but in this college its 85% even for 1 credit courses which have less classes during the whole course.

Placement Experience:

From around end of 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies which visit the college like infosys, TCS , JP Morgan. These offer good paid internships as well as with some great roles. Some even offer pre-placements.

Good quality of education in mysore and well placement
the surrounding good habits inside the campus
there is no raging inside and outside campus and friendly seniors and lucturers

Dislikes

North college is for away from the mysore city
there is no more fest like entertainments and joy full
there is not much of public transportation

Placement Experience:

after 7th semester students are ready for campus placements and companies like infosys ,microsoft ,google, cisco,brncho,tedx, and about nearly 700 offers ,53 lpa is highist packege in 2023,average 8 - 9 lpa. 85% got placed in 2023 in ISE branch,after deegree iam planing for govt jobs.

This college environment is very good and conducive to learning.
The faculty members were knowledgeable and supportive, and there were many opportunities for extracirricular activities like(sports,cultural,etc).
There were numerous student clubs and organization catering to various interests,promoting personal growth and leadership quality .

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is not so good and campus size is also small.
There are two campus NIE(south and north) from last two year cs department classes are held in north campus .The north campus is 15km away from main campus (south) so transportation is difficult.
The college fest is not so good and less focus in sports activities.

I like the placement of my college. It is decent
Campus life is not so good but i can say it is ok ok
Teacher are supportive and they put effort to make concept understand.

Dislikes

Sometimes teacher's prefer kannada language in between english.
Campus life is not good.Hostel to college distance is 13-14 km.

Placement Experience:

I join this college because of it's good placement only. From 5 th semester student become eligible for internship simultaneously for campus placement also. There are lots of company like meta, wipro, Delloite,tisco etc. Highest package of last year was 43lpa and average was 9lpa including all branches. Out of 120 students 108 got placed last year from cse branch.

Size of college and they made it related courses in separate place for that we have to travel 20 km from south campus

Placement Experience:

I am still a first-year student but the placement is good as far as we see reports till now this year 80 % are placed. The remaining are not chosen because of their lower cgpa. as we know we need a minimum cgpa of 8 safer side

Faculty is very nice I like the environment
I like the students they are very cooperative
I like the sports that take place in college

Dislikes

The college hours are very long and it is located far away from city so transportation becomes problem

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college offers a planned syllabus for students which made me took the ISE course. They can improve the curriculum by adding more practical based lessons. They maintain continuous evaluation curriculum which keeps the students in touch with syllabus .
