The campus is that huge the annual fest is teknieks its good as special as you and see in iits and nits the classrooms are pretty old sports are encouraged you have a good opportunity as a sports student
Good scholarship opportunity i am from snq quota which stands for a small numerical quota as i only pay 35000 every year there are a lot of scholarship opportunities and many scholarships up to 50,000 are received by my friends.
The faculties are very much supportive and kind also their teaching is also good.

Dislikes

The teachers are good and helping but the learning experience is average as the basic concepts are over dealt and the practical approach is very less and insignificant which makes it irritating and boring.
Hostel facilities are not that good as some toilets are broken, wifi is bad, tec.
Here faculties are very strict they cause a lot of chaos for attendance and deduct marks if you lose attendance lab exams are all conducted very strictly thus increasing the education quality for students.

Our college opinion

Likes

College environment and supporting for co curricular activities
Every time teachers motivation and teacher stay with us in every difficult situation
A good college with a great friend circle everyone is enthusiastic towards their college life

Dislikes

The college location is out of the Mysore the connectivity is not that good
The hostel fees is too much but the food is not as that good what we expect
The college is so strict and has minimum of 85 percentage of attendance

I choose this course because I am interested in computer science codeing and tech related things and I got the best faculty members in the National institute of engineering College Mysore where I get all doubts will be clear best motivation teachers are good enough to motivate and feel us good everytime

I liked the environment here. It is very habitual
I like the sports facilities here especially tt
I like the teachers here they are really friendly

Dislikes

There is a language barrier as i am from north india
The mess could be a lot better in terms of food
The events could be more lively so as the fests

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible to sit in placements and internships programs from third and fourth year. There are off campus placements as well. About 70 percent of the students get placed. My plan is to set up my own business

Likes

I liked the sports facilities of this college
I like the crowd here, very friendly and habitual
I like the professors here, they help cleat doubts

Dislikes

The fests are not that great and can be better
The facilities are provided only in south campus not north
The food can be a bit better and non veg options can be included

Placement Experience:

from third and fourth year the student start getting placed for internship programs. The highest package is 33 lakhs and the avera Package is 12 lakhs Good percentage (about 80%) get placed in NIE. My aim is to work in micrososft

I liked the crowd here and the friends I made here. The teachers here are amazing. They clear doubts and are really friendly for thed same. They assist you with any kind of problems you have relating to both academic and personal.
The sports facilities like the basket ball courts and cricket ground
I like the library here, it is a good place to study

Dislikes

There is no kabbadi court in the campus.
The food provided in the mess could be much better
The hostel buses are always too crowded.

Placement Experience:

students can be elegible fir placements from 3rd and 4th year. The companies visited are Microsoft Google Mercedes Infosys and many more. L and T hires in mass. The highest package was 33 lakhs About 85% students get placed here My plans are to pursue entrepreneurship after my degree

My honest opinion about my college

Likes

Placement of students and sports as per what students choice is available
From different part country students are present so higher diversity
No language barrier can feel even I am from north side and study in south

Dislikes

Attendance policy is somewhat strict in our college
Not enough number feed takes place in our college
Campus size is not enough so campus is greenery but not huge

Placement Experience:

Placement of student are takes place mostly in after 4 semester and there is enough number of offer are available for not just computer science but also for other branch Deloitte visa Cisco Mercedes Benz More than 90 percent students placed successfully some opt for further study My plan is to be good software engineer

Likes

Faculty is good as they teach very well.
They conduct clubs frequently which are fun and educational.
College environment is good for studies and college life.

Dislikes

Food is not that good and generally south indian foods are there.
Hostel facilities are not that good as some toilets are broken, wifi is bad, tec.
Fests are not that much and not that good

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The average package is 7 LPA. The highest package last year was i guess 53 LPA. Almost everyone gets the average package. My plans after getting the degree might be opening up a startup or to get a job.

Likes

Clubs - The events they conduct are very fun and knowledgeble. And these events are conducted frequently.
Faculty - Faculty is serious for the betterment for every single student in their class
Environment - The air is so clean here, and it feels like a different world if compared to where I came from (Pune)

Dislikes

Food - It's not bad but difficult tor me to adjust. But in terms of hygiene, yes it's bad.
Flexibility - College feels too fast, exams happen very quick, exams then quiz then practical exams then again exams and the loop continues.
Language barrier- it's not anything I can change but it's unsuitable for me as most people here speak kannada and I have trouble understanding that.

Placement Experience:

The placements of this college are good. From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The highest package offered to a student last year was 53 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. College offers alot of certification to put on our resume. I'm not sure about the percentage of students getting placements. My plans after getting the degree is startup.

A decent placement ratio and package is offered here ie not that bad
Good hostel facility with providing all the basic needs life warm water and spacious and clean rooms
Good campus life with interactive and supportive seniors

Dislikes

Language barrier and the discrimination faced by the non karnataka students during thier stay here even by the faculty members
Very heavy and tidious curicullum that mainly focuses on obsolute study culture and marks and ranking system
Lack of fests and fun events in college itself as it makes the college life here very boring

Placement Experience:

Placement process here is enabled from the last of fourth semester itself Mercedes benz, amazon and cisco are among the top companies that visit here Percentage of students getting placed here from my department here is quite high as cs department is the most asked for department by the companies

Clg is good for placements but it is very hectic also and campus life is not that good.

Likes

Teachers are very serious for teaching us.
Faculty is very nice and they support for sports.
There are many placements and package is also good

Dislikes

Campus area is only 15 acres which is not that much.
Sports complex in North campus is not that much great
Gym is very small and not that much exciting.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year you will become eligible for internship program. Highest package this year was 62 lakh and last year it was 57 lakh and average package is 11 lakh this year and last year also it is around 10 lakh.
