HLCC Ahmedabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I selected b.com because B.com is an accounting course students make in their career in accounting after graduation. And high job chances for B.com students. A faculty and students ratio is one faculty guide every 25 students. The qualification of the faculty is M.com or Ph.D. in their subject and the faculty teaching method is very nice. The exam is hard than the University exam and college internal exam papers are checked very strictly. And 75 percent attendance is required to give the exam.

The teachers are quite supportive and they all possess mostly Ph.D. degrees. I have chosen this course and this college because as I am doing CA their curriculum is centric to CA courses and attendance here is only 50% mandatory.

The campus is very big. The University campus includes many more courses having separate buildings. Classrooms are having projectors and comfortable benches. There are many sports opportunities available with different sports programs. Students run different types of social groups.

Our college company comes to hire students for their company. Companies like Reliance, TCS, and some investment banking companies come to hire students from our college. And they offer a 3.6 lahks starting package.

Students of our college are eligible for campus placement after completing the fifth semester of b.com. in our college average package offered by a company Is around 3.5 lacks per year. 40 to 70 students getting placement this year.

The students started getting placement offers after completing semester 5. Companies like Reliance, TCS, and some investment banking companies visited the college for placement. Companies offer a minimum package of 3.6 lacs to higher 4.5 lacs. in the current year 45 to 60 students get jobs in placement.

Campus placements are there but very limited generally students go for higher education from there. Still, 5-10 companies came for placements having average packages for 2.5-3.5 Lakhs per Annum. Placement opportunities are not so good there.

They do provide Placement facilities with sound packages. Every year 50 students get job placement from this college itself. They create a kind of JOB FAIR and various prominent companies come and take interviews of students like TATA, AIRTEL, and RELIANCE.

The college conducts placement programme every year and a lot of good companies do participate too. These companies comprises the local as well as the multinational companies too. The packages however offered are generous and I may say good for a starter. However not many got placed and even though get placed they do have further study plans after B.Com most of the times. As I was already doing my CA, I really did not even tried for campus. But even with a professional degree in hand what I really felt was that yes people do ask you the college from where you graduated and hence for me it was of utmost importance to end up with a good college having a wide presence.

As a student enters semester 5, i.e 3rd year of graduation and he gets the opportunity to enrol in a campus placement drive. There are lots of offers that we are served with. Various companies were interested to recruit the students from best Institute like HLCC. The highest package can be approximately 4.5 lakh per year.
