MITS School of Biotechnology Bhubaneswar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students become eligible for placement after 4th-5th semester. Highest package offered in the previous year was 4.5lpa by amazon. Companies like wipro, Deloitte etc visit our college. Last year 85% got placed. I'm also trying to get placed in a good company

I choose this course because I want to do a job earlier so that I can help my family and support them. After that, I also want to be a web developer. There are 98 students in our batch. Divided into two sections 50 students one section and the rest students are in another section.

In the 5th semester, we are eligible for campus placement, lot of MNC's and biotech companies that visited our college like Deloitte, Capgemini, Bharat biotech, integrated resource, Infosys, etc. A minimum of 75% of students get placed in these companies. As I was selected in Deloitte company so l will join this company.

According to the college, almost 90% of the students get placements from different companies. Companies like Wipro, Deloitte, TCs etc come to our college for placements. Package details depend as per the company they get selected in. But it provides placement to almost everyone.

After the 4th semester, all students except backlogs were eligible for on/off-campus placement drive. The backlog students after clearing their backlog exams were eligible for the same in the stipulated time period. IT companies like Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Delloate, Infosys, TCS, and biotech companies like Omics, Biocon, etc. are doing on/off-campus with interesting and reasonable salary packages including training periods in some metro cities of India. From our batch 30% of students were getting placed in the above companies, now they are completing their training period and get promoted in higher posts. I had my interest in the research domain of biotechnology, so I opted master's degree in the same course. Now I'm currently working as a Ph.D. scholar at Khallikote University in the plant biotechnology domain.

This college have very good placement record as well as good faculty members to support you. Placement trainning is good in the college which include subjects as a soft skills and aptitude resoning subjects which also help in the other competitive examinations.

From 5th semester students are eligible to opt for the campus. Many companies used to visit like Deloitte gives 3.8lacs per annum, Xl Dynamics gives 6lacs per annum, IR gives 3.6lacs per annum, Infosys 2.19lacs per annum and etc. Highest Package offered is of XL Dynamics lacs per annum and an average of 1.9 to 2.23 Infosys, Capgemini, and Wipro. Around 92 percent of students used to get placed on the campus. I got selected in Deloitte and I will do MCA in distance after my BCA.

We all know every things has 2 faces like good and bad. Like that our college also have some backfoot points but our lectures never showed us that. They also help us to overcome all the burdens. We students need more and more lab equipments for our experiments and research works. Our college also provide those to us but we need more for better experience.

overall its being good experience for m in this campus. just being new for a couple of months i am very much exited

Overall my experience at MITS has been great. It has been a platform where I got to explore my talents.
