IBS Mumbai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement for the last yr was good. There were many companies like Nestle, KPMG, JP Morgan etc came. Most of the companies that came were for marketing. They offered 14 lakh for international and 12 lakh for national was highest. And avg is 6 lakh. 95% got placed and the remaining started their own company.

Campus placements start in July. Before that Mock interviews are held in college with industry professionals. Placements average salary is 6 lacs It ranges from 5.5 lacs to 10 lacs depending upon the company that visits. Alot of brands like Deloitte DHL Lodha Mahindra Syntel Jaro Icici Hdfc IDFC Disney KPMG GEP visit the campus. Many of them are bulk recruiters. Around 90% of students get placed & remaining are either having Family business or they plan for further studies. Students after SIP with pointer 6 & above are eligible for placement.

College placements generally start from the 3rd semester onwards as companies start arriving by then and it goes up till the end of the 4th semester, placements at IBS Mumbai are decent but there is huge competition in placement due to a large number crowd and one should be prepared for this as good companies come with good package in the starting period of the placement. Average running placement for the college is 5.5 - 7.5 lakhs. There are few foreign placements as well with huge package but they take very few in number too, and honestly, this college attracts more of sales and marketing profile jobs which means finance has huge competition when it comes down to their placements and HR is very very low or for that matter operations is also not that great.

In the month of February, the summer internship process starts which is of 3 months. From the month of August final placement starts. The companies that came in the yr 2020 for placements are Amul, Future Generali Life Insurance, Nestle, l&T, Wipro, Banks like ICICI Bank, Hdfc Bank, etc came and took almost 60 students giving a package of 6-7 lakh package. The highest placement offer was of 12 lakh in national and in international it is 16 lakh and both were for marketing students, For finance also the placements are pretty decent. The average salary was 6-708 lakh and lowest to lowest was of 3 lakh. Mostly everyone got placed the last yr. 95% - students placed 5% - entrepreneurs/ business

As a management school most important aspect is what you pay in the form of fees and what you receive in the form of Median placement package. Here both the numbers were very good with its peers. That is against 8 lakh fees you can secure a average package of 6.5 lakh. The overall management of college not very good, their are errors it's difficult to contact them for queriew and their resolution. Staff is very good they are highly qualified teachers. Infrastructure is not that cool like we expect. Process starts in December with registration of IBSAT Exam their after a computer based exam in last week of December further to it shortlisted candidates have their GDPI in the last week of February at their main campus that is IBS Hyderabad and then by last week of march you can confirm your seat by paying 80000 and then they allot you the campus according to your overall score.Why IBS? Its a brand Well known in corporates the return on investment is good and fees is affordable for a middle class family boy also college have tie ups with bank for education loan.We can select the course specialization with Major-Minor or Dual specialisation is also available.

Good Return on investment considering the fees and the package ratio, good placement opportunities are created by college, they also provide great internship opportunities thus helping us work in corporate before we jump into corporate and great faculties.

After completing semester 3, the companies start to come and all. The students are placed by the time students complete there semester 4. The placements packages are also good which varies from 5-8 L.

The main factor was that my brother was already studying in this college and the infrastructure of the college is very good and also they have very advance classroom and labs for everything. I got loan from bank of India it is very hard to get this loan

The main factor was that this is very good and very big college for MBA and when it comes to placement they have very good company connection so the there is very good chances to get job in very big MNC Company

My friends from graduation was taking admission in this college and they also suggested me to take admission here because they have very big MNC companies at the time if placement and also they provide good connection for the paid internships
