Fees structure is very appealing and is the best in my knowledge because the roi is at its best and they also provide scholarships to meritious students who aim for good knowledge and better packages.
Life at ims ghaziabad is very peaceful and also the infrastructure is very well maintained, there are several clubs like saksham the hr club, the pioneer the finance club, markwiz the marketing club, ayam the social club.
Faculties at ims are super amazing, experienced, and understanding too, i choose pgdm because i want to be an entrepreneur in future.

Dislikes

less experienced faculty and they do not have control over the class and biased nature
placement cell is not supportive and no issue resolved
exam pattern change frequently and giving 2 hours for 5 case study and 5 short ques long ques paper

An Experience Worth Sharing

Placement Experience:

Most students get the opportunity to sit in the placement from the IVth Trimester. Companies such as Berger Paints, Deloitte, Mondolez Foods (Cadbury), ITC, DTDC, Dabur etc visits IMS Ghaziabad. And most of the students of our batch got the placement.

Truth about IMSEC

Admission:

Yes there was a test, mCQ of 10 questions, 1 to 10 and after getting 9 marks in that test they said they can't give me mechanical or CS on 89.6% marks, can you believe this well then after they called me by themselves.

Mostly, at the beginning of the Vth trimester, the placement gets started at IMS. There are many companies who do visit to IMS such as Deloitte, Amul, DTDC, CRISIL, Dabur and many more. Most of the students of our batch has got the placement.

Experience at IMS Ghaziabad

Placement Experience:

From the IV trimester itself, we were eligible for the Placements. Although, I can't really recall the number of companies visited then most of the students of our batch was placed. Companies such as Amul, Dabur, ITC, and many more were the ones who visited the campus then.

IMS Ghaziabad is one of the most reputed institutions.

Placement Experience:

Innumerable companies participated in the campus placements of our 2019-21 PGDM Batch. The highest overall package bagged by our batch was INR 16.69 LPA, the highest domestic package was INR 12 LPA, while the average package stood at INR 6 LPA. Some of the prominent names present during the drive were Deloitte, Wipro, ITC, Federal Bank, Prism Johnson & Godrej.

Placement Experience:

from the 5th trimester students become eligible for campus placement, many companies visited the campus with good packages, the college offers 6-7 lakhs as average placement and the percentage of students who got placed is almost 95-100 which is a good placement record.

Companies that recruit students are Amazon, Deloitte, HCL, Airtel, Capgemini, IIFL, Godrej, etc, and more than 309 offers are made. The highest package is 16 lacs and the average package is 10 lacs. The profiles offered are software developer, Senior manager, HR, etc. 85% of the students got placed in 2020. My plan is to get placed in a reputed Multinational Company.

As IMS has a 31 years old Foundation it has collaborated with brands that came for College Recruitment like Deloitte, Tata AIG, Mahindra, Flipkart, Byju's, Extramarks, Burger, Asian Paints and many more. the Highest Package offered on College Campus is 20 lac and the Average PAckage for the top 50 Students is 9 lac. college Provide 100% Placement Assistance. After Getting a Degree I'll for Co-operate life.

Overall it's good.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd term, students go for their internship and after the completion of this, companies like Deloitte starts visiting the Campus for recruitment from September and then the process goes on. Highest-10 lakhs for the last batch Avg 4-5 lacs. 85% of students get placed. Will try my best to get placement from the college as a lot of good and reputed companies visits the campus every year.

One of my cousins studied at the Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad. According to him, it is not a good institute, he suggests not to go for it. Let me describe why he feels this way.

It provides 100% placement, but the majority of companies that come here are looking for sales aspirants. The packages are also inadequate, ranging from 3-5 LPA.
The teaching is good. There would be constant group discussions and presentations.
Academics do not have much value because just good grades will not get you a job. You need proper skills too.
The college has been around for nearly 30 years and still cannot attract good companies. This clearly demonstrates how inept this college has been as they have been busy swindling out money from people by making false claims.

Complaints from many students like my cousin were never taken into consideration. They have spent a lot of money here, and this is the response they get from the administration.

The only good thing about this college is that they offer a Study Tour to Singapore. Honestly, it is better to remain an undergraduate or take a year off to retake the CAT and other aptitude exams in order to join a good institute.
