Infrastructure - infrastructure is good of Delhi University
Faculty - faculty is also good, they guide students regarding their career
Exposure - as in du colleges many societies are there , through which students get good exposure

Dislikes

Syllabus - syllabus for exam is not organised in a proper manner
Hostel facility - limited seats are there for hostel
Canteen- from few months, canteen is closed,

After 6 th semester students are eligible for placements Various companies visit in du to recruit bcom hons students Like KPMG, Deloitte,Paytm,Noise and many more companies visit du for recruiting Highest package 3600000 Average package 800000 Around 50-60 % got the placement After degree I will go for placements..

Campus Life is pretty enjoyable with full exposure.infrastructure is decent and good environment to enjoy college life and study find mind with same thought process.
Things I liked is it is pretty serene in campus area and full of exploring opportunities.
My college has also has lot of society which helps in enhancing one' s personalities.

Dislikes

I disliked the size of campus like it is not large .it only has three blocks and practical equipments are also not in good quantity.
My course faculties are well but not understandable.but phy is interesting when one approach faculties individually.they guide very kindly and help at each step.
My college contains 3 canteens but prices of goods are costly and taste is also not as expected.

Placement Experience:

For my particular course , there aren't good placement opportunities available here but for courses like bcom hons, there are good placement opportunities available with average package between 7-8 lakh. So in my case , as I do not get any placements, I have decided to go for MSc in Physics most probably abroad (USA) as there are good opportunities available there to pursue my interest and make a good career in it.

Likes

The active societies at Hansraj College plan a lot of seminars and activities all the time, which adds interest to the educational process.

Dislikes

I don't particularly dislike anything about my institution; thus far, it's been a great experience, therefore I have nothing negative to say.

Placement Experience:

The placement program offered by our college has grown significantly in the last few years. The average placement for the previous batch was 8.2LPA, while the highest placement was 36LPA. Businesses from a wide range of fields come to our campus to fill positions.

Likes

I liked the infrastructure, and specially shah rukh khan's poster!
I like the good society's culture and environment.
I like the seniors as they are very friendly and talented

Dislikes

I didn't like the size of campus, its a it small
I didn't like the faculty. Like one or two maybe
I didn't like the freedom and lost feeling here

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i took commerce with maths in my 11th and 12th, I wanted to pursue bcom hons as my undergraduation degree and wanted to continue my future in commerce only. Getting admission in Hansraj College was a little tough but the end went well and the faculty is also good here.

Likes

Faculty of college with good professors and non teaching staff
Infrastructure of college is fabulous with big ground
Fest and parties organised by college are best in du

Dislikes

Principal of college is really strict and khadoos
Canteen was shit for many months due to some dispute
Fights of students happening in campus area

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had great interest in my couse from school itself. My subject includes more ratio of girls comparative to boys. Faculty is very nice. Professors are helpful and teach nicely. Mentor and mentee process is also there where our problems are solved nicely. In every 5-6 monts exs are held for semester wise. If we attend classes regularly then exams are not so difficult.

Likes

Campus is good small and clean placement are good but only for commerce students.
Campus life sometimes I think that this is the best experience I have ever made All kind of masti and studies I did there.
Some faculty members are very supportive and always helpful feel like home everytime.

Dislikes

Faculty members are sometimes biased which is very wrong.
Placement should be available for science students
I had some bad experience made in my college life with friends which can not be forgotten

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this because I had prior interest in botany and I want to know more about the field and this is like interesting and If we talk about faculty student ratio in my department the teachers are enough and they are doing their duty well and Qualifications of the teachers are doctorate, post doctoral and some are still doing research in the college itself. In almost four months exam held and it is not that much difficult to pass if a student is studying regularly

I like the infrastructure of my college it is very beautiful womens you can spend your whole day in college and you you never get bored of it
classroom was very beautiful and the teacher are very much cooperative the take a doubt session he take our they give their best to everything is very fine

Dislikes

The mindset of those students are very far away from my mind so that I couldn't connect with them and which makes very difficult for me
my college is not that much good and perfect as everyone wandering when they are at their home it is a common University College not a very next level college but it is okay decent college

Placement Experience:

campus placement I think after their second year and facilities fight good means this year the highest placement was is 36 lakh and the average placement is 728 lakh and median placement is 6.5 lakh and almost 90% of the student of BA economic Honours and BCom Honours are get fledged also Computer Science Students are less

The Excellence at Hansraj

Likes

The society culture at Hansraj is one of the best in the entire DU circuit
The College has nice sports infrastructure like Badminton court, Basket Ball court, Table Tennis, indoor Shooting range etc.
The canteen is nice and serves tasty food at subsidised rates.

Dislikes

The administration is very poor, and procedures are delayed
There is no attendence portal to check attendance on regular basis
The Ground and Sports facilities have fixed timings, which are inconvenient

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are done by the Placement cell. Famous companies visit the college every year like PWC, KPMG, Deloitte, The Shaw, Noise, EY, Tata Consultancy etc. The placements are offered after rigourous procedure. Highest package goes to around 35 lpa and average package is around 7.5lakhs pa. Majority students get placements

Honest for Hansraj College-DU

Likes

The ambience of the campus is very good you get to meet with people with different personalities
The faculty members are highly educated and supportive
The sports facility in the college is top notch and you can play or practice any sport of your choice

Dislikes

Canteen food pricing is a bit inflated and expensive
Disturbance can be made during election times
Campus is smaller than the other DU colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I wanted to do Bsc Physics from start and this was one of the best college of India offering this course Faculty to student ratio is quite good it is about 1:10 All the faculty members are highly qualified with minimum degree of PhD and M Ed Their teaching methods are also unique Term exams are timely and end sem exams are conducted every 4-5 months

Hansraj college overall review

Likes

The only thing i liked about HRC is the Placement that was offered was higher than the rest of commerce schools in india except SRCC
The infrastructure is well equipped with all the amenities that a student requires to study.
The college is fully equipped with all the sports facilities

Dislikes

Gym is not well maintained and the timings are very odd for students to come and train.
professors are very poor especially the teacher who teaches MPA.
Canteen still isn't opened for students. Many students have to opt for expensive alternatives to nourish themselves.

Placement Experience:

1) from 5-6th sem students are eligible to sit for campus placements in college. 2) 350+ companies came to recruit during 2021-22. 3) avg package was 7 lpa. highest package was 34 lpa ctc. most of the profiles offered were marketing. 4)60 percent of students were placed during 2021-22 5) my plan is to do MBA from an well known institute from abroad.

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.

Here are some of the best things about the institute.

This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
North Campus has the best college location.

You will not regret choosing the institute.
