Every Year XIMB maintains the legacy of 100% placement. The average and mean package is around 15L and the highest package is around 27L. Many big companies like HUL GOLDMAN SACHS, ICICI Bank, LOreal and Tata Steels, etc come to the campus

XIMB is one of the best tier 2 B-Schools. It is better than most new IIMs and all baby IIMs.Average salary for the 2020 passout batch was 15lpa, while the median stood at 15.4lpa. Marketing is really strong in our college. But at the same time, operations and finance faculties are also great.Admission is taken through CAT/XAT/XGMT(conducted by XIMB)/NMAT(only for HRM program). The exam is followed by a GD and PI. There is a 50% domicile quota. People from Odisha have lower cutoffs than people from other states. Also, the huge batch size results in a bit of a delay in the placement process. But ultimately, 100% placement occurs every year. In 2020, due to COVID, 7 people had their offers revoked, but they were helped by our alumni as well as the faculty and are successfully placed thereafter.Cutoffs vary every year. In 2020, cutoff for XGMT for non-domicile engineering male students was 91%ile. For CAT and XAT, it was 88%ile. Female candidates and non-engineers have much lower cutoffs. Level of difficulty of the exams every year plays a significant role in determining the cutoffs.

The campus is lively 24*7 and if you're interested.The campus is lively 24*7 you may have to find time for sleep.And college academics,placement and people are too good to make campus life amazing.What are you waiting for? Xavotsav is the biggest fest in East India which happens in XIMB.And my elder brother too was an alumuni of this college and he got placed in ICICI bank with good package the fees is little high but placement is also high

Campus crowd is the most, you will enjoy the most here, more than any college. The largest annual fest in eastern India. More than 50 corporate competition every year, sports fests, dance, singing, art, quiz are the daily activities.

I chose this MBA- Rural Management because it gives MBA + Rural Management, rural management is a field of study which gives sense to you because of its dynamic curriculum and it has a good mix of rural development + industrial needs. It makes you different in the industry and course teaches us how to mobilize rural communities in an effective way. This course doesn't only teach from the industrial point of view but it creates a sense of responsible management.And this college suits my expectations.
