Jagran College of Arts Science and Commerce Kanpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I opted for this course as I was pursuing Ca and the curriculum was a bit similar in both. The student ratio was equal Teachers were skilled and qualified apart from some of the teachers, the rest was good at teaching. College conducted half-yearly exams which were mandatory to appear for and wasn't too Hard.

Jagran is one of the best colleges in Kanpur for commerce background students, which made me choose jagran. The faculty here is well qualified and really helpful. There is atleast one teacher for every 50 students. The exams are held semester wise. And there are two semester per year.

In my course, I don't think we get placements somewhere from Jagran. But companies like RSPL, GOLDIE, INFOTECH, JAGRAN, BAJAJ, HONDA, ETC come for the placements of students pursuing BBA, MBA. The percentage of students getting placements is approx 60% My plans after this degree are for government jobs. I am preparing for a government job I am preparing for SSC bank railway and competitive examinations.

Placements are average from what I've heard from seniors, I'm eligible now for the placements so I'll get to know them more clearly.  The top recruitment companies in our college are Wipro, Tata, Infosys, and many others. Some of the students from our college got internships in the topmost companies such as Google, Amazon, Myntra, etc.

The students are eligible for placements from the 5th semester. I'm in 3rd sem right now so I don't know much about it but I've heard from my seniors. They got good placements in reputed companies like Infosys and Google etc. I'll try to get a job in a good company just in case I fail to get campus placement.

The faculty of Jagran is the best, they just support, encourage all the time. We have 2 internals before the semester exam that made us prepare best for our exams. It is easy to pass Internals if you simply just attend the class carefully. No need to study extra than that.

After the 3rd year exams, the students were eligible for the campus placements. Companies are Concentrix, Justdial, car Dekho, etc with the package of 2.5, 3lacs p.a. There is no limit of percentages scored in the exams should be there to be selected just crack the interview with your aptitude and have a placement. 70 percent of students got placements. After getting the degree I was planning to pursue MBA.

The chances of getting placement after BCom are quite low because there is no proper placement cell in the college for BCom students they can give interviews to few companies which are come for BBA students. You can barely get a package of 240000 Rs. I'm doing masters in commerce which can lead to better options.

There is no placement for students learning the BCom course as it is a non-professional course. If you apply for a job Outside the campus then it is not an issue. Most students go for Higher education. only 10% of students get placed without campus placements. I went for a sales and marketing job in Kanpur itself as I wanted to go for an MBA in sales.

After 6 semester students became eligible for campus placements. If the percentage of students is 60 percentage or more than that he or she will get a good placement. After getting the degree I want to do an MBA course.
