Jai Hind College recently became autonomous and hence I wanted to join it. It's a very good college and the biotech department is very good so I planned on taking admission in it. Plus, it's really close to churchgate station.

Most important factor that plays the vital role in the institute is the faculties and the faculties of Jai Hind College is just superb. The give their best to make students understand to the best and always come up with innovative ways of teaching students.

Very few colleges in India offer an undergrad degree in particularly Financial markets and Mumbai being the hub of Finance this college is really reputed for this particular course. The exposure which you get being in this college is of different level, you are supported with your entreprenurial skills, leadership skills and what not. Our Department has regular visit s to officies of brokerage firms and financial consultancy firms which gives us an edge by not just learning theoratically but also gain practical knowledge. There are insightful sessions by industry experts once in 2 weeks under the Concourse study club which conducts it. The monthly Financial magazine called BAAZAAR covers all the aspects of Indian financial markets with current stocks doing well and indentifying the stocks to invest in. The financial club holds monthly competitions to ensure that we have fun along with out study. Case study competitions and Extra curriculum are balanced which ensures overall development of mind.

I'd suggest to choose Jai Hind College over any other college in Mumbai because it focuses on the all round development of the student, not just academic. The college definitely excels at academics with the most learned, enthusiastic and motivating faculty, but also provides various kinds of opportunities for all kinds of talents. Various programs are organized at the departmental, intracollegiate and intercollegiate level. The cultural committees of the college provide provide opportunities to participate in various competitions like dance, drama, music, photography, elocution and stand up comedy to name a few. They give a platform to showcase one's organising, marketing and PR skill as well. Being in the Bachelor of Science ( Microbiology ) program, one witnesses many workshops and informative seminars by eminent speakers. Jai Hind is the place where one gets to enjoy college life at its fullest with the ever joyfull and enthusiastic students in the campus. Dance and fashion show practices drive the cheerful vibe on campus. Cultural fests are always around the corner. There are a lot of events going on. The everyone gets opportunities to participate. The teachers also play an instrumental role in shaping the personality of the students, both within and outside academics. They are always eager to solve doubts and guide the students. The syllabus of the Microbiology course is really good and an upgraded version of Mumbai University's syllabus. Teaching has been immensely enhanced after the college received autonomy. Great teachers and institutions make good students, and ultimately good citizens of the nation; Jai Hind College is an epitome of such a great institution.

Location of the college, reviews from seniors and relatives, smooth admission, good courses, great faculty, general crowd, batchmates, infrastructure of college, opportunities for extracurricular activities, future prospects. I opted for the couse because it has great opportunities in the near future with the increased demand for students related to this field and their experience which will surely be critical in the near distant future considering the current scenario the demand for students related to this field will surely increase and is the need of the hour.

I chose this college because it is in the top 5 colleges of Mumbai, it has good academic and support facilities, it offers knowledge about science, commerce, and many more other things, it has good class availability, excellent support, excellent teaching and has good alumni networks.

It is the best college in Mumbai, worldly acclaimed, and has the best opportunities for further career options. It also has international connections with abroad universities and better scope for students who want to continue their further studies abroad.
