- The college gym is neat and clean and most importantly free.
- The admission process is easy and simple...i got my admission for b.e through my cutoff which is 94.9 in 2021..msc courses have entrance exam and it is pretty easy too.. admission process in cit is not pretty hard
- Placement cell provide a lot of opportunities for the students by bringing great companies for recruitment

- Food in hostel is not much good. sometimes it's not tasty
- The hostel mess food is not very good and the mess workers are overworked and underpaid.

The college is spacious and filled with trees. It is a dote 1 college and is affiliated to Anna university in Chennai. They have a very respectable reputation. We have students from all over India. Good.

Remarks:
It's because its one of the reputed engineering college with better placement offers and nearer to hometown. In this college there must be a freedom to everyone and they won't pressure the students to concentrate only on academics for their rankings of college. Mostly all the club activities and placement coordination all conducted by students. Students have more chance to get develop their management and leadership skill through various clubs.since most of the club events are conducted at the eve or at weekend's so it won't affect their classes. I choose computer science since the future and upcoming technology depends on machine.

I chose CIT because of its High ranking among other colleges and good coaching. Also It was located in Coimbatore as for my parents' concern. I had never thought of choosing a course other than Computer science and engineering because of my passion and desire towards gaining knowledge in this field

About 150 companies are recruiting our college students annually, and they offer up to 33 LPA and there is a variety of job segments provided. And yes, most of the students get placed in a good core company.

Remarks:
This college is one of the top prestigious colleges. The curriculum here is deep ad consistent. They have commendable placement records. Also it is a government aided autonomous institution. The money you pay for such a quality education is very less. Being an autonomous institution, they plan their own curriculum and hence there can be new twists and turns as per the trend. CIT being founded 64 years ago has a great educational inheritance. CIT ranks 62nd in the National Institutional Ranking Framework.

Remarks:
I chose this college because this was in my hometown and the tuition fees was reasonable for the marks I had scored in the Higher Secondary Examination. This was not my first choice but this was the college I was allotted during the counseling process.

I heard a lot of good reviews about this college. The college has a good reputation in Coimbatore and has a lot of experienced faculty. I asked a few passed out students and they claimed to have had a great placement and internship opportunities. I opted for computer science because I have am passionate about AI and app development.

Admission:
Through engineering counselling by Anna University, I chose computer science engineering because of my interests in hacking and gaming that I wanted to create one on my own, you need to apply for engineering counselling through Anna University portal and a demand draft of 5000 need to submitted along with it which will be later deducted in the college fees, you will be allotted a slot based on you cut off marks, wherefrom the available seats you are supposed to pick one and granted, at the end you are provided with the admission letter for the college.
