The college must hire quality faculties who understands students and who makes lessons interesting not the ones who instill hatred and fear for a subject. They must improve their labs, provide options for fees payment.
I appeared for the WBJEE in 2014 and was waiting to get a college thourough the following steps of e-counselling. I knew I would probably get this college based on my marks and registered choice. One day I came across their advertisement in the newspaper about direct admission. Since the college is not very far from my home, I decided to go to the college to know about the Direct Admission feature. To be eligible for Direct admission, one has to have any rank in WBJEE and he would be admitted in the college any day before the session begins.
Please select some other college. The faculty and the senior management are a joke. No one really knows what they are doing in their own department and there's a lot of miscommunication within the whole college which hampers the productivity of the students.
I appeared for the MAT exam, for which I prepared for around 6 months. I got good scores, that's why I received a call for the counseling process. My interview was pretty smooth and went right. After which there was just a basic documentation process.
Admission to the college is entrance based. I missed the CAT exam, so I appeared for the JEMAT (Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test) conducted at the state level by MAKAUT, West Bengal. I downloaded the form from the official website and filled all the latest updates and sent it to the college. After that, the selection process was pretty smooth.
