THE DARK TRUTH OF PU

Mainly on the first visit of the university i felt very good for the infrastructure of the university the maintaince of campus is 10/10; Very fast procedure for admission as south student it took just 25 minutes for admission and got instant temp ID
The classrooms are so simply and eco friendly has the best ventilation which feels stress free the teachers are so responsive for each and every session they interact with each and every student who reaches them and for ah best they explain in short
The ammenities provided by the campus is litrally 10\10 they provide us free 5g wifi and 24/7 cool water facility which keeps body hyderated in this hot areas and it provides every kind of food and snacks in canteens and mainly the entertainment PUWP

Dislikes

On the flip side at several times the interns come and teach us which gets some deffective learning and some of the faculty just swipe the pdf and dont even explain about topics he have covered and there is no perfect code training have seen here own
The strength is too large in cse courses about to be 4000 students enrolled for this course and has heavy competative than other colleges and mainly herer the placements are less for IT field they prefer business field only they enroll many it but w
Some IT companies just provides the link to register for placements but not reach the college or conduct the apptitude test and CDC cell will tell wait for them gthose who have applied joined the college with some expectations which are comparitiv

Placement Experience:

Before 2023 placements was preety god for our seniors and on 2023 many companies dint reached our college maximum was non it sector of surat and bombaby stock exchange thw gighws packed here is 35 lpa and low is 3 lpa AVG is 8 lpa better placements will arrive after the development of IT in ahmedabad

A college with good opportunities.

Likes

Things I liked is the college environment and culture, it was so good and events are awesome.
We have very comfortable and spaced classrooms and auditoriums.
Second thing is food courts, we have lots of options while choosing food courts to eat and also lots of variety of foods are there to eat.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not good, it doesn't taste good even in once in my hostel days.
The sports, we don't have proper grounds for any sports like cricket, volleyball, badminton, basketball etc

Placement Experience:

From the start of the seventh semester students are eligible for placement interviews. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart and other companies are visited and they made nearly 70 to 80 Percent offers. The highest package is 36LPA and the average package is 7 lpa

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of the buildings.
You can opt for multiple kind of hostel rooms at different price per year. You can go for AC/non AC or no of sharing 3-10 sharing common or attached washroom. And separate hostels for boys and girls.
The campus is filled with greenary and multiple food courts and canteens to have a very big variety of food to eat.

Dislikes

If you want to go to another building for lab work you need to walk around half a kilometre.
Some building have closed the doors if you are late by 15 mins or more

Placement Experience:

I don't have that information right no. But you can always opt for mff , and in campus internship of 2month with a stipend of around 10000 rs . And for placement I heated about Microsoft, quick heal . This kind of companies come.

campus life - the best life or the best moment at all in the whole university
faculty - well educated most people are p.hd holders or doing phds . most are from well known places and good at their end
infrastructure and placements - i know the most concerning part - PLACEMENTS !!! . Don't worry you will get more then enough chances to get hired . also the infrastructure is good

Dislikes

Dozens of fests - although this is a positive point but most of the events are non tech or concerts , parties and EDM
food - the most of the food is gujarati based

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is well designed and hands on knowledge based that means if you are learning any subject you are going to perform practicals on it . the college provide all study materials and the main highlight is that teachers are not the typical lecturers they will actually teach you. the exams on generally a mid semester exam which is 1.5 hrs and the end semester which is 2.5 hrs

An overview of my college

Likes

The best thing about the college is its campus life, as it shows in its advertisement it does provides a diverse campus life.
As the campus is present away from the main city it provides every thing needed for the day to day living, shops are available

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is still in its development stage thus some of the academic buildings like the central library are still under construction.
The college doesn't take admissions on the basis of any entrance exams so the students present in the college are not segregated on any basis.

Placement Experience:

The students of the 7th semester become eligible to sit for the campus placements. The placement scenario is not good for the engineering department in the university. The average package is low compared to other universities and considering the global recession it may have not yet reached its lowest till now. Some companies do come with a package of 40 -50 lpa but the students are unable to clear its placement tests and thus fail to get placed at any major company.

i liked the way how teachers encourage the students in sports
reading rooms for who study in the library
solving the problems by faculty in classrooms

Dislikes

rules and regulations in the hostel campus
rectors showing partiality to the students
ragging in the college premises in hostel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this cse to get into tech field. They are teaching not bad , completing the syllabus on time , only one mid semester exam and semester exam at end of the semester, After getting Nacc A++ they hiked the fees

Having parul is good choice for me , it is affordable and it is getting better day by day

It is culturally acceptable have affordable price
It has affordable price and having good faculty
A brilliant supporive cell for placement and comes under naac A++

Dislikes

Mess food in hostel sometimes like it is type of sweet
Should try on good placement offers for students
It should provide some extra curriculum to students

In cse department it has 100% placement record , and if you will have merit and skills then no worry for placement. University will provide you companies for placement, if you have merit then afkos you will Crack it

Provide lots and lots of opportunities even in other fields.
Labs are of excellent quality. Even have apple lab.
Faculties that not only help you in subject but also in life.

There are lots of students in btech (specifically)

Placement Experience:

Placement is quite good. Reputed company visit campus. Highest campus placement till date is 32 LPA. 90+% of students are being placed from campus placement. Average placement till date is 8 LPA. Student are eligible for placement from 3rd year.

I like campus so much because this is an ragging free campus
Many sport options available in my college so i love to play it
First i like here environment so good environment here there are so many activities available here

Dislikes

The collage is good but hostal food us very bad
There are some faculties who have unexperience so it is deficult to understand it
No clubs are there so we are not connected to other circular activities

Placement Experience:

They students are easily eligible for campus placement who have maintained 7.5-8 CGPA in per samister and have many skills the highest package for BTech cse department for this year is is 27 LPA average for this year is 8 LPA in average that students are not counted whos not eligible for sitting in interview this average is counted like this Average= no. Of students placed/no. Of students elegible for sitting in interview I think this average is always more then 95% because always all students are placed who are eligible

My honest review for colege

Likes

the campus was large and lively, with lots of activity. this created a strong sense of community and it was easy to meet new people
piet offered a decent range of engineering specializations. allowing me to find something that aligned with my interests.
some courses did involve hands on projects, which offered practical and made learning more engaging

Dislikes

far too much of the focus was on memorizing concepts rather than critical thinking and problem solving.
some of the laboratory equipment and software felt outdated
while placements were possible, it often felt like a numbers game for getting any job
