Things to know about Parul University

Likes

College environment is perfect for anyone who tools admission
The campus is so big and vibrant with many food courts
Faculties are very supportive and helps in personal development of students

Dislikes

Drainage system of college is not good during rainy season
In summers classes are so humid and hot.
Exams mostly happens during festive season which is a major issue 🥲

Placement Experience:

Only the last year student are applicable for campus placement. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Infosys,ONGC ,L&T,etc visit during campus placement. Highest placement is around 40lpa and average package is around 7lpa. I am planning for masters after my degree.

The teacher are knowledgeable and has a very helpful nature.
Campus is really good and have a energetic environment.
The food courts availible in the college is really regionable and good.

Dislikes

The crowd of the college is a bit dissapointing.
Faculty on students ratio must be more improved
Checking done of students from the security is sometime awkward.

Placement Experience:

The college offerd 100% of the placement gaurantee and also do the same as the placements are really gauranteed and beneficial. Companies like tcs and l&t are also here for the hirings. Its a great opportunity to be hired and move further with a good future.

The campus is very beautiful and have a good vibe infrastructures are very high develop and the technical team is of very high knowledgeable
Infrastructure is veey good and adorable
Teachers of bytexl faculty's are very knowledgeable and have quite good knowledge in coding

Dislikes

Main faculty's are not good nenough as expected
There is very high security in campus which waste are time
The place is like more of celebration than in studies

Placement Experience:

So when a student is in 4 year he become eligible for pu placement in 7 sem ,cognizant accenture are some of the companies.highest package is 54 lpa and average package is 5 lpa There is 100% placemt I want to join in a company through placement

So at first the campus is so good that if you live in hostels it would feel like heaven for you
The ambience,vibe festivals they celebrate it feels like a second home to you
They have teaching affiliation with bytexl and the team is superb

Dislikes

Same batch for South Indian and North Indian which lead to miscommunication sometimes
The heavy checking at campus entry gate it feels like you are someone wrong here
I think the teachers are not as good as expected they are more focused to complete syllabus rather than making it clear to all

Placement Experience:

100 percent placement is offered with companies like cognizant tcs infosys wipro adani and etc offered packages with average of 5lakh and highest is 54lakhs. And irc cell helps us to move abroad so i am planning for that

A short review on Parul

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum and syllabus is in fact good. It atleast covers the basics but at last it depends on you and your self study. Your main goal for attending college would only be for attendance itself. The exams are very easy and are easy to score in if you just follow your faculty teaching materials. So even a last moment study is enough to get you good grades if you are good enough.

College's infrastructure is very good, I will say it's top notch
In campus some building has lift facility
All class room has smart board and white board that works properly

Dislikes

Teacher are not that much experts or experienced
Many use less rules are there in college
They don't follow proper attendance criteria some time they allow below 50% and some time they don't allow 60% attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

In curriculum you learn c,Java, oops, DSA,full stack development with python etc. College curriculum is very bad and outdated. College need new and structured curriculum. College exam is not average difficult.

The campus of college is very big and advanced & here also available many courses with dual degree programs .
The college is very good and the program provides by university Is also good
The placement ratio is very good in all course

Dislikes

Some teaching faculty are bad and not experienced so I think the experienced faculty should teach the new teacher
There are many restrictions in college & college security is very strict
The minimum attendance criteria is 75% it creates many difficulties for students.

Placement Experience:

From 5th or 6th semester students eligible for placement. Top MNC like google, Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, Infosys, Adobe, indigo , Flipkart, TCS , Mahindra, tata and many more indian & foreign companies comes in campus for placement. I am currently in 2nd year so didn't get placement but I completed the 4 month internship in college in technical cell. With stipend of 14000 per month.

Pro's and cons of Parul University

Likes

The infrastructure in the university is quite good
The students who want to go defence have separate cells
There are many grounds in the campus to play sports.

Dislikes

Some faculty don't know how to speak in English.
The hostel fee is not reasonable for the facilities given.
The population in university is so high.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college are average. There will be many companies that visit for placements but the average package is less. WIPRO, ORACLE, TECHDEFENCE, GOOGLE, NVIDIA are some of the companies that visit for placements. Most of the students who are eligible for placements are placed. I want to pursue masters after bachelors.

Detailed review of B.Tech CSE at Parul institute of technology

As a student I feel safe here because there are no ragging in the campus, seniors are very helpful and friendly,lots of learning opportunities
One of the best college in terms of events, concerts are of top quality with very big celebrity faces and the college organise 3 to 4 very big concert throught the year
Faculties are 90% helpful and young who understands my der day student needs and their way of learning, they also provide extra class If you want to learn any topic personally

Dislikes

Security here are Little bit strict as compared to other universities. There are very strict laws in the campus which students have to follow
College runs on the culture of payment the fine and move on , for ever small to large mistake there is fine
The hostel sometimes feels like jail and we are not allowed to leave the campus without permission so it's feels like no freedom as a college student too we need to take gate pass even if we want to go outside for 1 hour

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester students become eligible aur campus placements sab major company visited are Amazon byju's Microsoft TCS Wipro etc highest package is increasing day by day as the college is doing well in its field last year for B.tech CSE it was 30 lakhs and the average package is somewhere around 5 to 6 lpa 80 to 90% student gets placed every year Considering about my plan if I will get a good job with a good salary I will continue to work and gain experience for three or four years after that I have decided to go to abroad for my masters

The campus is very mesmerizing. The guards are also very friendly

Dislikes

The food in the message. Its not very good not very bad. But after some time the food starts to taste the same all the time

Placement Experience:

From the 6 semester the students start getting placements. The placement percentage is 100% in the university. The highest package given to student is 2.2 crore. There are various companies who come here for the placement opportunities.
