MCC Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

MCC is among the most popular Private colleges in Chennai and that's why it has been ranked 5th in Overall and 9th for Computer Applications rankings of 2020 IndiaToday group.The college is approved by UGC and has been accredited by NAAC with Grade ''A''. MCC is affiliated with the University of Madras. Admission to the college for MCA is based upon on TANCET score of candidates.

After the 5th Semester, students become eligible for campus placements. I am in the 3rd Semester. So have not visited any companies yet. 90% of the students get placements. After I get the degree, I will opt for a Master's and will try for a job inside.

In the last year, the students become eligible for placements. The companies that come for placements are Wipro, TCS and E&Y. The average package provided is 3-3.5 lakh per annum. The percentage of students that get placed is nearly 50%, as in my course the placement is less but in other courses like BCA and MCA, the placement and package is high.

The admission process is not so good but as the campus is beautiful with diverse people with various ethnicity so I chose this college. I used to be an athlete in the school and this college professor had given me permission to practice here so from childhood I knew the in and out of this space.

I took the course for that one word TRAVEL. Everyone likes to travel and me also thr one among. I believe travel is the best education where we will get practical learnings. Faculty are highly qualified and they wil assist us each on the knowledge level we have and they will train as

From semester 6 they're eligible to attend campus. MNC's like Wipro ,Cognizant ,RBS will recruit students . The average package is 3 LPA and the highest is 3.5 LPA. Many people don't go for placement here rather they go for higher studies.

Well, I'm still in the second year so I am not much aware of campus placements so it would be better if I don't share wrong knowledge. But I hope since it's a degree college campus placements would be better for pg students and Mphil students.

The students are eligible for the campus interview from the completion of 5th semester which is, they are eligible to take campus interview after successful completion of half of their 3rd year of the course and they will be generally held in the month of November and December. Every year various companies have been selecting students from MCC such as Deloitte, Cognizant, Infosys, HCL, etc. Each year around 40 to 50 students will be placed out of 80 students of that current batch. The students of MCC has been getting quite higher packages when compared to other colleges. Students from MCC has been getting a package around 8.5 lakh per annum which is a quite higher package as the other students will have to have a 3year of experience to attain this package. Around 60 - 70% of students getting placed every year. I have being palnned to do masters in the same college.

From the last sem, all the dept students get campus interview but placement ratio is little small for Viscom they go to internships and they get a job there 70% people get placements I planned to go to channels to the internship.

We are given a good amount of exposure with people working in different industries related to our course, which help us in choosing our internships snd future placements. Many of our seniors are in good positions after completing the course so we need yo reach college before i tell more about placements
