The curriculum of first year according to me not very beneficial but yes everyone have to study ,main department related comes in 2nd year, where they work on building basics like subjects like C and C++ programing language and DSA and OOPs lead it's foundation which are important and you have to add accordingly.

You become eligible for sitting in placement drives in the seventh semester. You have to maintain a minimumCGPA of 7.5 to sit in placement drives. The major company which recruits student are - TCS, HCL Technologies,Capgemini, Tech Mahindra

The curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course because os the highest placement and highest campus selection from my college and there is high scope of Cyber Security at the upcoming generation. The areas for improvements in the course curriculum is in the lab and some teaching style that should me improved more. but overalll teaching method is good . Timing of exam if not that much long and not much short. It is accurate and fix .It is diificult to clear but by studying it is sure that it will get passed.

Most IT names from offshore which are operating in India has come to Bhopal and especially to our college. The packages are mostly in range of 5-10 lakhs and some standout students manages to get Placements worth 20 lakhs plus.

LTI, Capgemini, Wipro and which not as our campus is one that believes in providing core placements. So from pharma to engineering units we have almost over 100 companies and students get placed with extinguish packages.

Placements here have been outstanding for years now. The placement percentage as in the number of students that are getting placed from here are quite high in comparison to the peers name. Going ahead I am sure it will probably only get better.

Highest package from our campus so far has been for 32LPA and average median for CSE is 8 lakhs or rather more. The other departments are struggling our department is doing the best as more and more companies are adding every year and ensuring that at least CSE students will have placements.

Number of companies is impossible to count as Enact which has developed placements cell has ensured that students life of OIST is enriched with placements. So, 80 to 85% students are placed almost every single year.

Almost all as CSE students get Placements and that too good placements. Students from our college have been places in top IT firms like Infy, Polaris, Honeywell and all time everyone's favourite in TCS. Average placement median on 2023-2024 was around 850k.

TCS, Wipro, Google, Honeywell, L&T Infotech and many other have given a sense of security to the students that they will get placed. The current avg placements are less than 10 lakhs but this figure is going to be bettered as companies are ready to shell big money if they want students from OIST.
