UIET Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Positive - Academics are good in our college. Teachers are also helpful. Multinational companies approach for placements, which is a very big plus point. Negative - Our college lacks in infrastructure. Labs are not upto the mark. Placement ratio is not too good.

All UIET students miss their college. Because the life of the UIET is awesome. Even the elections I miss which goes every year in panjab university. UIET have most number of the votes so the main focus of the Parties were UIET.

Placement of my college is not so good so I can give negative mark on the placement and for the faculties and his friendI give the positive marks in this college placement should be maintained so that student get job from these colleges

Everything has pros and cons. My college has great exposure and opportunities but the system is quite corrupted or I should say not co-operative as everyone knows how government systems work. The staff at the office is always too lazy to do anything. So things take more time than it should take. It can be quite torturous sometimes.

Infrastructure of college is very bad.There are 4 buildings.The fans are also not working.Washrooms are so bad that we can't even go there.Washrooms are not clean.Lift facility in only in 1 building which is not working.

Through JEE mains rank which must be under 35000 for cse and 50000 for It branch and gradually decreases for other branches, in total there are 5 branches and by filling JAC chandigarh couslling.Please take care while filling up because there is also Hoshiyarpur campus Exists.

Overall UIET is a nice college to study. But needs proper infrastructure and new faculty to make it excellent in terms of acedemics. Sports should be taken more seriously. Fee structure should not be incremented on regular basis.

Well our college is quite good as its ranking is also quite good about the acadmics it is ok but in terms of infrastructure it is not upto the mark as other colleges of our university are having better infrastructure but taking lesser fees than us.

There are always something good and bad about everything because no one is perfect so the good things are that it is a government institute and provide all the basic facilities to the students who want to learn and the bad thing is that not everyone gets the hostel . Hostels are allocated according to the JEE rank and you need to clear the rank to get admission in hostel. Otherwise there are PGs around to have a living.

It's good. For each subject, 100 marks theory exam is there in semester. 50 for sessionals. And about lab it's 25 marks for internals. 25 marks for viva. There are some marks for assignments, presentations, attendance too.
